Well that was an unexpected invitation, maybe that's why Joseph texted me, asking if I'm free or not. I'm genuinely happy that he's comfortable with me to the point he wants me to hang out with both Joshua and him
Joshua picked me up at around 10.05 AM and we head to the amusement park in town. I had fun and so did they. After hours of playing around, all of us decided to take a rest and grab something to eat since we haven't had lunch yet
"I'm gonna go to the restroom for a bit. I'll be back" said Joseph as he left to the restroom in the restaurant
"Thank you Sophia for spending some times with us today" said Joshua
"It's my pleasure Joshua. I had fun with both of you today. You could say I got a one day vacation" I laughed
"I did too" he responded, followed by a laugh
Silence filled the air until Joshua decided to break it
"You really are amazing in a lot of ways Sophia" said Joshua, breaking the silence
"Hm ? What do you mean ?" I asked
"I mean, you were able to make Joseph comfortable with you. You're able to gain his trust. Not to mention, you're also really good with your works. Seriously, how do you do that ? I really wish to be someone like you" he responded
"You're even better in working than me. As your boss, I'm a bit ashamed" he added
"Why should you be ashamed ?? You got that title for a reason. Also, the reason why he's comfortable with me is because I treat him like a friend rather than someone else's kid. I do that with my nieces and nephews too" I said to him
"You're great in your own way Joshua, don't degrade yourself to someone else" I added
"Have some confidence. You shouldn't bring yourself down" I smiled at him
He smiled back fondly at me
"Thank you. I appreciate that of you" he responded
