"I am the youngest in my family, but because of my great achievements throughout the years, my parents wanted me to be the next heir instead. ESPECIALLY when I've already taken business course unlike my elder siblings. It was quite a lot of pressure" she sighed
"I'm fine with it because I know that I'll be able to live happily knowing that everything's gonna go well, but... I kinda wished people don't know about my parents being the head of the company" she added
Must've been tough
She suddenly chuckled
"Must've been weird for someone you just met to suddenly talk about her struggles and worries" said Sooyoung with a sweet smile carved onto her lips
It's so charming that I'm losing focus on anything else other than her.
"It's not, don't worry. I'm fine with it" I responded, avoiding eye contact as I could feel my heart beating faster
"You seem like a really nice type of boss" she giggled
We then finished our lunch and head back to the office.
"I'm looking forward to work with you, Mr Hong. Also, thank you for everything today" she bowed
"You're most welcome Sooyoung. I enjoyed our time earlier" I responded
Both of us parted ways and continues on doing what we were doing
