Today's a day off for me so I have to go out and buy some groceries. After all, everything had ran out so I had no choice anyways. I'd like to go shopping for some clothes too so, I'm just going to go to a mall instead of a grocery shop.
I got ready in a casual style of clothing and drove to the mall I usually go to.
It was all just a normal shopping trip for me. Searching for new clothes, accessories and even surveying some new bags. Since it's already lunchtime, I should eat first before doing grocery shopping.
As I was thinking of where to eat, it was then I noticed a familiar figure walking past me
By a quick glance it looks like Mr Hong. My boss. By the back, it does look like him. If so, why is he with a kid though ??? Maybe it's his nephew but oh well.
I walked up to the figure earlier, assuming it was Joshua and called him out
"Mr Hong ?" I called out as I tapped onto his shoulder softly.
His movements came to a halt and turned to look at me
"Sooyoung ?" he responded
"Ah, I wasn't wrong. Out shopping ?" I asked
"Yeah. Gotta find clothes for this little one here" he chuckled
"And he is ?" I asked
"Oh, he's my son. He's 7 years old this year" he replied with a smile
I was surprised and stared at him for a bit. Wanting to process what he said. A son ??? He's married ???
Damn-- To think that I'm crushing on him--
I should distance myself from him after this
"A-ah I see ! I didn't knew you're married already" I said, laughing awkwardly
"Oh-- About that--"
"Dad, can't we just go now ?" said his son, definitely annoyed
"Joseph, behave" said Joshua sternly and his son pouted
"Sorry, about that. Since we're already here, why don't we just shop around together ? I'd love a company. Other than my son that is" Joshua offered
"Dad no !" his son protested but Joshua hits his son lightly instead as a signal to stop.
"I'd love to but, he really doesn't seem to like me" I said, followed by another awkward laugh
"Ignore him. He's just going through a phase" said Joshua with a smile
What phase ? Dislike towards women ?
