After I've finished the pavlovas, I took out two and brought it up front with some teas and puts the remainings in the fridge. Joseph and I had a session of getting to know each other and ever since then, he began to come by my house a lot that even Joshua and I got even closer
Honestly, I am just really happy that he's accept of me. Joseph is such a sweet kid when he's all accepting of someone. He seems to enjoy it with me around and I'm glad he is

"We went through this already, just call me Sophia, Joseph" I responded while stirring the tea I'm making.
"It feels improper,,,," he responded
"It isn't when they're the one insisting honey. What is it ?" I asked
"Why are you, you know, wanting to look after me so much ? Does it have to do with my father ?" he asked as he sounded anxious
"I mean, it does since I genuinely want to help him but based on the way you're asking it, it's probably about a serious relationship" I chuckled as I was making some snacks after finishing the tea
"So... Yes...?" he asked
"What ? Of course no. Your father said on how bad he felt about leaving you at the daycare till late night because of his busy schedules. I just wanted to help out, especially when we live nearby. Besides, you're a child that is in need of a parent's affection and I understand that very well. That's why, I decided to help out even when I'm busy with works" I replied with a smile
"Y-you mean it ?" he asked
"Of course I do. I had fun babysitting you. You're such a great child and very understanding for your age. I also feel less alone when you're around" I replied
"Alright, the tea and snacks are ready. Let's go to the living room together" I said to him as I picked up the tray, walking up to the living room. He then followed me from the back
I may not planning for a serious relationship with your father, but truth to be told, I genuinely want to be with your father and you.
