Link entered the house. Zelda was staring at the various weapons on the wall. Link approached behind her.  His reflection appeared in the glass casing of the shield.

"Hi, Link."

Link said nothing, merely waving back. He had reverted back to his ways of dealing with stress - saying nothing, showing no emotion.

Zelda looked back but didn't respond. She had been used to the silent knight. Sure, he had started talking more and more, but it didn't drive her crazy when he went quiet.

They stood there. Link was behind Zelda, and she turned around. "What is it? What do you have to say?"

Link took a deep breath. He stood there for a second. Zelda cocked her head, confused as to what was happening.

"Link? What was-"

And he leaned forward and kissed her once more.

This was truly the best way to convey what he was trying to say.

And the princess seemed to get the message.

Maybe it was because he cared.

Maybe it was the way kissed, strong and passionate - it reflected his personality.

But in that moment - just that second, that one thing - made Zelda want to spend the rest of her life with him.

They felt the same. They were meant to be together.
