Asleep

As Zelda got back, she saw something on the table. 

There was a note, and a plate of food. She picked up the note and read: 

Dear Princess, 

I didn't know where you went, so I made some food. I left a meal for you as well. It's Fried Wild Greens. Something simple, but healthy and delicious! (if I do say so myself) See you tomorrow.

"Oh! That's sweet of him..." she muttered, glancing up at the loft where the knight was still sleeping. She ate the food and went up to check on him. 

Asleep. Just as before. Who knew what was happening in his head? In the realm of dreams. It could be a maze of memories, a land of imagination, a recollection of his adventures. 

A n y t h i n g. 

Zelda sighed and sank down on the floor next to the bed. She was tired. Quietly, she grabbed a pillow from the bed. And she fell asleep almost as soon as her head touched it.
