Arabella Jane, despite living in Bristol her entire life, was born on the right side of the tracks. Her family had plenty of money, they went on fancy holidays, owned fancy cars and wore clothes that were way to formal for everyday wear.

However as soon as secondary school hit, she trailed down the wrong path. She stayed out late drinking with her mates, did drugs at the closest park, hooked up or made out with every person in her vicinity.

Despite everything though, her parents kept trying to keep her close. They gave her the money she wanted and let her have the house to herself. They weren't particular nice to Arabella (never hit her but was constantly insulting her) but she was their only child. They, in the simplest way, needed her for bragging rights.

Alexander and Delilah Jane made up lies about the girl to their stuck up friends, pretended to have a perfect child when in reality she was ten steps closer to death every time she left the house. What great people, right?

All her secondary school life, Arabella's friends where older and that's how she met her best friend. Tony Stonem was her first real friend, despite being older, and introduced her to Effy. The pair did everything together and where more like siblings than friends.

Then Arabella's first boyfriend came along, he was a dick and left her scared of any type of love. She pushed her friends away and only Effy stayed, who would have though one boy would change her perception of love.
