Pia's POV

Its been almost a month since that confrontation between me and Lance happen. He left me there dumbfounded. He left again. He left me hanging. Though hindi ko rin sya masisisi but... the hell! Ganun na lang kadali para sa kanya yon? Talikuran ako ng basta-basta?

After hearing his explainations and reasons parang mas bumigat pa lalo yong nararamdaman ko. Totoo pala talaga yong sinasabi nilang truth hurts. Kasi pag nalaman mo na yong totoo mas doble at triple pa yon kesa sa sakit na naranasan mo dati. Ang sakit lang isipin na wala syang tiwala sakin. In just one lie he just walked away and left me in an instant.

Sobrang sakit na after a year lahat ng ginawa mo para mawala yong sakit eh bumalik eh bumalik na lang basta ng dahil sa explainations nya. We used to be the best buddies, brother & sister, and partners at the same time. But that was before.

I dont know what should I feel right now. Its like I'm paralized. Masakit malaman na yong taong halos kalahati na ng parte ng buhay mo eh sya pa ang mawawalan ng tiwala sayo basta-basta. We spend almost 10 years of our lives being together. Be in tghe same school and section. Being the best bud. Entitled as childhood sweethearts. But as I've said. That was before.

Aamin ko. Masakit. Sobrang sakit. Because the man whom you trust so much doesn't even trust you the way you do. That's why when he ask for a chance, I doubt. Hindi na kasi ganun kadali magbigay ng chance. Lalo na pag nasira na yong trust.

Alam ko din namang walang pinapanigan yong barkada eh. Hinahayaan lang nila kaming hanapin yong mga sarili namin. Because honestly after that night, I really dont know what to do anymore.

Tok! To! Tok!

"Come in"

"Uhm Ms. Pia, your lunch meeting with Mr. Jake and Mr. Lance has cancelled. Mr. Jake said that something came up. But he rescheduled it later evening. A dinner meeting."

Yes you heard it right. Jake and Lance are one of the boardmembers of our Company. Actually it's their's father,s share pero pina'ubaya na sa kanila yon.

"Okay. Tell them that it will be at Silvia's Resto 7:00 pm sharp."

"Ok Ms. And by the way the CEO of the De Venecia's Corp wants to have a meeting with you regarding on the proposal." Faith

"When?"

"He said that it's your choice Ms."

"Inform them that it will be on Saturday at Garcia's Garden Grill 12 noon."

"Sure Ms. Will I also send the emails to Mr. Jake and Mr. Lance regarding on this?" she asked

"No need Faith. I'll be the one who'll discuss this to them later. You may go back to your work. Thanks."

"No prob Ms."

Pagkalabad ni Faith tinapos ko na agad yong mga kailangang tapusin for finalization para sa dinner meeting. It's awkward to be with him at work. But I guessed I need to deal with it.

Haaaay! Makatulog nga muna. Sobra na kong stressed this past few days.

Urghhh! Ouch! My head hurts.

"Hello?"

"Hey Pia! Where are you? It's 7:10 already." Oh shoot! It's Jake. Oo nga pala may dinner meeting kami. Sheez!

"Shems! Sorry. I over slept. Be there in 10 minutes. Bye."

"Ju-" Binabaan ko na sya. Hindi ko na sya pinatapoos magsalita. Rude ba? Nah. Its not. Ganyan talaga pag nagmamadali. Haha :>
