Book 2 chapter 13

I already have let Sophia known that Noah would be coming here yesterday so when I knocked on the door she immediately opens it.

"Hey Sophia" I smile giving her a quick hug which she quickly returns.

I walk inside, Noah and Roman follow close behind me.

Roman and I are currently at the beach.

Yes the beach.

A few hours  ago we left the house and went to the warehouse.

We tortured that man for a while before we left and went to the beach.

So here we are.

"I can't get that image out of my head" Roman suddenly says.

I look turn to look at him for a few seconds before pulling him a little closer to me, "I know, I'm sorry" I tell him not really knowing what to say.

"If we were there just a couple of seconds later, he would have been raped again." He mutters

"Yeah he would have been, but you need to remember that it didn't happen. That we were on time Ro. Noah is safe now and Michael is locked away until he dies." I say to him.

We stay silent after that conversation and just stay close to each other while looking at the waves.

Soon the sun goes down and we already need to head home.

We just ride slowly, enjoying the light breeze of the wind.

When we arrive at my house I tell him to stay.

He agrees saying that it is already late.

I take a shower while Roman does whatever.

After my shower I put some silk pyjama's on with a fluffy bathrobe before I go back downstairs to Roman.

I walk in the kitchen, hearing sound come from there.

I see Roman cook something so I jump on the countertop and look around for a while until my eyes land on my book that I'm currently reading.

I grab it and just hold it, I don't know why but it gives me some kind of comfort.

After a while I start to go through the pages before I smell it, which creates a smile on my face.

"Did you just smell your book?" Roman asks making me jump a little, I forgot he was there for a second.

"Yeah, it smells good" I tell him.

"You're weird."

"I know" I agree.

Roman stops with his cooking and grabs two plates and fills them with rice, chicken and curry.

"I'm not hungry." I tell him when he sets one of the plates in front of me.

"I know, but you still have to eat. You haven't eaten anything since lunch." He says while also climbing on the counter and placing a plate in front of himself.

I sigh knowing he was right and accept the fork he hands me.

We eat for a while and talk about some stupid things that for some reason make me really happy when I talk about them with Roman.

When we finish eating I clean everything up while refusing the help that Roman offers me. He made me dinner the least I can do is clean up.

After cleaning everything up I just lean against the counter for a while, not saying anything.

I feel weird.

Like a little floaty.

Like numb but not numb.

I don't really know.

"Roman?"

"Yeah?"

"C-..can I get a hug?" I ask him.

Immediately he crushes me into one making me smile a little, "Are you okay?" He now asks worried.

"Yeah, I just-..I don't know. I just need to be held right now" I tell him hugging him tighter.

"We all need to be held sometimes, Val. And I want you to know that I'll always be here for you." He says holding me tighter.

I snuggle into him and after a while we go to my room and cuddle into each other while lying down before falling asleep.

So I was wondering since Val and her friends, including Roman are 16 almost 17 if you guys would want me to talk about Val's and Roman's relationship more? And since they are teenagers if you would want me to talk about sex in the chapters. Like how society makes them may feel a little pressured to do it too or maybe even not at all.

I wouldn't post smut I think, since there is an audience of younger readers that read my book and I don't really know if they'd want to read that unless there is actually a request for.

Also I wanted to see if maybe any of you have any suggestions for the book. Like things you'd like to add or a crazy plot twist or something?

Anyway I hope that you all had a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
