Trini, Kimberly and I volunteer to look after a child name Maria, she suppose to be here at the Youth Center an half an hour ago but we couldn't find her

" hey Ernie, have you seen a little girl wearing long black pigtails around here?" Kimberly asked Ernie as we walk in

" Billy, have you seen Maria?" Trini asked Billy that is sitting on a counter, " we can't find her anywhere"

" don't worry, I'm sure she's all right" Billy says

Jason and Zack are practicing there karate till they spot us

" hey girls, what's up?" Jason asked us, " look like you just lost something"

" not something Jason, someone" Kimberley says to him

" a twelve year old girl named Maria, Kimberly, Selena and I volunteered to be big sisters for the day" Trini informed the boys

" she was supposed to be here half an hour ago" I finished her thoughts

" you don't think she's in some kind of trouble, do you?" Kimberly asked Trini and I, we turn to her but not saying anything. Cause we don't no what to say

" ladies, take it easy, there's no need to fear, detective Zack is here" Zack said, going behind us, " besides, how much trouble could a little girl cause?"

Just on cue we hear yelling, we turn to the entrance to see guys half naked running from something, we laugh of that

" talk about a bad way to start the day" Jason says, " who'd do a thing like that anyway?"

Our smile faded when we spotted Maria near the water heater and she raises her eyebrows at us

" Maria!" the girls and I said in sync

We walk over to Maria who's at a counter drinking a drink she brought

" Maria, we're not mad at you" Trini said, that catch her attention to us, " but why did you turn off the hot water?"

" I just wanted to get your attention, that's all" Maria answers

" Maria, just be yourself, we'll be your friends no matter what you do" Kimberly said

" you will?" Maria asked the three of us

" sure" I answers

" that's what being friends is all about, right?" Kimberly asked, looking at Trini and I

" right" Trini answers

" hey, how would you like to go on a picnic?" I suggested, " we'll pack a giant basket and have lots of fun, what do you say?"

Maria nods her head yes and go back to drink her smoothie

" I hope we know what we're getting ourselves into!" Kimberly whispers to us

I look at Trini confused and she shrugged her shoulders, we went to get the things we need for the picnic and then go grab Maria once we ready

We are now at a park having the picnic

" hey Maria, come eat lunch, it's really good!" Trini said to her

" all right" Maria said coming over and sitting down, " thanks for being my friends guys, my dad tries real hard but there's things that he just doesn't understand, know what I mean?"

" Maria, anytime you wanna talk we'll listen" Trini says to her

" yeah, you know that's what friends are all about" Kimberly agrees, I nodded in agreement
