"Pay attention you morons. I will not repeat the instructions again. Let's begin." Ibiki Morino boomed. Ouch my eardrums... but the first part of the exam was exactly like what happened in Naruto. Some questions were high school level physics questions about kunai and shuriken projectiles, certainly not something a Genin could do. Others were about the history and politics of the Konoha and the shinobi world which obviously I was not too familiar with. So I formed an ice mirror on the ceiling and disguised it with genjutsu so that I could copy off of the chunin in front of me. Interestingly enough, the tenth question was the same, so I stayed put in my seat.

Danzo POV
Two men cloaked in black kneeled before me in the Root headquarters. "Fu. Torune. Follow Kiyomi Yuki to the Forest of Death and keep an eye on her. I want you to test her skills to see if she is ready to join Root. I will not tolerate failure on this mission. We already lost Kakashi Hatake and Kinoe. We cannot afford any more losses." I ordered.
I smirked as the men disappeared. I know they will not disappoint me.
Kiyomi POV
A jonin brought us to the Forest of Death for the second part of the exams. As I entered the forest, I could help but get an eerie feeling. The forest truly lived up into its name. I was given an Earth scroll, so all I had to do was to get a Heaven scroll and make it to the tower within 5 days. Much easier said than done, I sighed. Well I just have to do my best since I really wanted to become chunin.
I followed a Iwagakure genin team that was nearby me and moved silently in the trees, concealing my chakra.

(Author-chan is too lazy to come up with new teams but I would imagine they are really similar to the Iwagakure genin team in Boruto.)
I guess they detected me as the boy with bangs on the team paused and said "Come out and fight us." and his other teammates got into formation. Someone's energetic. Ah it was a bad choice to follow their group because my water chakra nature would be at a disadvantage against their earth styles.
Seeing as it was too late to back out, I jumped down from my hiding place in the woods and said, "If you have a Heaven scroll let's fight."
"Pff only if you give us your Earth scroll. Sendo, Zashimara let's do this." The boy with the hat-like ninja headband said.
"Not a chance." I retorted and threw ice spikes at them while the boy with bangs turned his arm into stone and smashed all the icicles to bits.
Then the boy/girl? with green hair began levitating, cast the earth dragon bullet jutsu, and started shooting rapid fire mud balls at me. I tried dodging but I got hit by some pellets and I barely had enough time to create an ice barrier.

"Is that all you got Leaf ninja? Where's the rest of your team?" the body with green hair sneered.
I struggled to my feet to reply, "I don't have one!" before sending a wind blizzard towards them, knocking them off their feet.
The boy with the hat then summoned a temporary earth dome around himself and his teammates until the jutsu died down.

Then the boy with bangs engaged in taijutsu with me and every hit hurt a lot as he reinforced his punches with earth style.

His teammates were approaching to back him up and I knew I couldn't do a taijutsu battle with three ninjas, so I decided to finish this with a jutsu I learned from the scrolls that Lord Hokage gave me on the Yuki clan. "Ice chains!" I shouted.
It was an imperfect jutsu right now, but I managed to make my chains touch the boy with bangs and release ice particles on him. He started freezing and fell to the floor and screamed. His teammates said, "Stop! Stop it! We will give you the Heaven scroll."
I double checked that was authentic when they handed it to me, and I knelt down next to the boy with bangs. "Don't worry the jutsu will wear off within a few hours. Just coat the ice with a layer of chakra so that you won't freeze." I turned to his teammates and said, "You guys are strong. I hope we can part ways on good terms."
They nodded and disappeared. I sighed in relief and tucked my scrolls in my backpack and made camp for the night by a river.
