It was starting to get unbearable, until Camilo suddenly let me go and picked up his pace, getting a good distance out in front of me.

"Welcome!" He started, "to my favorite place to watch the stars."

He moved out of my way to reveal a giant hill. It wasn't steep and looked easy to climb. At the top I could see a dim light emanating from what I guessed were candles.

Camilo offered his hand and I placed mine in his. He helped me up the hill and once we reached it, I realized just how much he had done. There was a little blanket set out, with a candle in the middle to light the area up. A basket also sat with the candle, most likely filled with food.

"Do you like it? I had Mirabel help me get some snacks. I was hoping we could just chill. Relax. You deserve it." Camilo shrugged, like what he was doing wasn't a big deal.

Oh, but I was overjoyed. My parents did a lot for me, but never once had they done anything that would just help me relax. I smiled and squeezed Camilos hand.

"It's perfect! Very thoughtful of you, pretty boy." I beamed, looking into his eyes. His eyes softened as he smiled.

He then cleared his throat, shattering the silence. "You shouldn't stand any longer. Cmon cmon let's go sit!" Camilo urged and I listened, sitting on the soft quilt, careful not to let my skirt touch the candle.

Camilo quickly sat down next to me, reaching for the basket. "Want anything, hermosa? I brought all sorts of goods."

"Sure, why not." I answered. Camilo pulled out a little bag and handed it to me. Inside were small polvorosas that smelt delicious. I pulled one out and took a bite. Just as I thought, they were amazing.

As I finished the cookie, I looked up at the star filled sky. It was absolutely beautiful. Every single one shined in its own way.

"Stunning.." I whispered, shoving another cookie into my mouth, not letting my gaze stray from the stars.

{Camilos POV}

"Mhm.." I hummed in response to Y/N.

But I wasnt looking at the stars.

I was looking at her.

Cliché, right?

When Y/N looked back over at me I almost choked, immediately looking up towards the sky, yet i could still feel my face heat up.

I liked to think that I was such a great actor.

{Y/Ns POV}

I looked away from the sky to dust crumbs off my skirt, glancing at Camilo in the process. He looked panicked and his face was a little red. I couldn't tell if he was blushing or dying. Then again, why would he be blushing?

"Are you alright, pretty boy?" I asked, setting the bag of cookies down beside me.

He cleared his throat and nodded, "I'm doing great, hermosa. Say, did you finish that skirt you were talking about?"

"Uh.." I was a little taken aback by the sudden change in subject, but shook it off, "Yes I did! It's the one I'm wearing right now! I sort of rushed it, though. I wanted to wear it tonight so I could show you in case I got caught by my Tio on the way back.."

"I don't think it looks rushed. Actually, it looks perfect as it is," Camilo said, taking out a leather flask from the basket, "Water?"

I shook my head to his question, resting my hands in my lap, "No thanks."

"Suit yourself." He shrugged, bringing the flask up to his lips.

"So.. the twins mentioned that you usually don't chill with randos in town. Why do you hang out with me when you're supposed to be doing chores?"
