"w-what! you have to be jo-joking dad." nothing but amusement was in his eyes while he watched me stuttering over my words.
"I am la mia piccola farfalla but you should have seen your face!" he says laughing "That was not funny" I said with a straight face

"haha okay but to answer your question on a more serious note no you don't have to play a part in it, but that's not to say that you won't be in it" he says getting more serious but his words confuse me
sensing my confusion he quickly adds "although you won't go on missions or work in the mafia, you Aurora Marie Moretti hold the title and will always hold the title of the American and Italian Mafia princess which sadly holds a target on your back all the time" if any sane person heard that they would most likely start freaking out but I am anything but sane so I just nodded
"so for safety purposes you will need to learn how to defend your self. There is more we need to talk about but we can do that later when we're in a better situation, okay." he asks grabbing my hand giving it a light squeeze.
I lay down next to him wrapping my arms around him and he does the same. We stayed in a calm silence but I chose to break it "well today has been eventful" I start to chuckle it gets cut off by my yawn "possiamo restare così ancora un po', il tuo papà davvero a suo agio?" snuggling closer to him.

"Qualsiasi cosa per te mia piccola farfalla" my father whispers in my ear kissing the top of my head holding my body.

Just as I'm about to fall asleep I hear a scream that could literally make my ears bleed. Causing me to jolt up then dad too
" what's wrong honey?" He asked with concern written all over his face
" you didn't hear that?" I ask shocked
"Hear what Aurora?" He asks
"The scream it was loud as hell! How could you not of heard it" I ask him like he's crazy
" honey no one screamed"
" Ummm yes they did dad I literally heard it." He's crazy how could he not of heard it.

"NO IM NOT" I yell out " your not what sweetie" my mom says walking into the hospital room
" I'm not crazy mom" I says
"No your not who said you were thought" she says looking at me then my dad probably thinking it was him.
" I -I don't know but I heard it just now. Someone said I was the crazy one when I heard that scream"
"Scream? What scream sweetie?" She asks me too " oh come on not you too. Someone screamed like 3 minutes ago. How could you not hear it?" I ask trying to convince my self that I'm really not crazy and they heard it to
" why don't you get some rest Ro you've been through a lot today." My mom said walking up to us and kissed my head
" y-yea okay" I say unsure. Maybe I'm just hearing things cause today was very stressful rest might help
"Goodnight la Mia piccola farfalla" my dad says holding me in his arms rubbing soothing circles on my back.
Just before I fall asleep I say just above a whisper " buonanotte papà sono felice di averti con me ti amo per sempre"
[T~ goodnight dad i'm glad i have you with me i love you forever and ever ]
"ti amo anch'io farfalla fino alla fine dei tempi" he whispers to me as he continues to rub my back in a loving and protective way
[T~i love you too butterfly til the end of time]
"fino alla fine dei tempi papà" I say just as I fall asleep
