Chapter 7

I walked into the common room, when I was lifted up and spun around,
James said" Birthday girl is finally up!" I laughed,
I said" Let me down!"
" Fine!" He put me down and I was immediately lifted up and swung around by Sirius.
" Remus!"
Sirius said" Sorry, little bird, Moony can't help you!"
" Given?"
Peter said" He's down at breakfast!" He ruffled my hair as Sirius finally put me down.
" Can we go eat? Don't you two have a match today?"
Sirius said" Oh, yeah! We do!" James laughed as he and Peter took off out the common room." Come on, Ezra." He held out his arm," You are 13 today, meaning after the match, day's yours. What shall we make Moony do first?" I laughed, looking at him," Come on! Think of anything!"
" Honeydukes raid."
" Ah, our newest chocolate fiend, of course, of course."

We walked into the great hall,
James said" Finally! Come eat! Cover her eyes!" Sirius covered my eyes and led me to the table, sitting me down,
Remus said" Happy birthday, Ezra. And because it's your birthday, I'm allowing them to feed you this for breakfast." Sirius uncovered my eyes,
I squeaked" Cauldron cake!" They all laughed, I blushed, and looked down,
" Don't be shy, this is once a year." I giggled," Also, a chaser and a seeker is about to eat it."
" No!" I took a bite, James and Sirius fake pouted and crossed their arms,
Peter said" Good job!"
Remus said" For my worth, will you at least eat some fruit?"
I said" Wanna know what we're doing after the match?" He tilted his head a little and squinted his eyes,
" Do... Do I want to?"
James said" I do!"
Sirius said" Go on, little bird, tell 'em." He nudged my shoulder,
I said" Honeydukes raid!" Remus chuckled, shaking his head,
He said" Bloody hell, what did I get myself into..."
Sirius said" A lot of-"
James said" Mischief!" I laughed and grabbed an apple, biting into it, Sirius, James and Peter groaned.
" No, no! Only sweets on your birthday."
I said" But look at Moony!" Moony was pouting,
" Bloody hell, he's good." I laughed," Fine, a few fruits won't hurt! But other than that, you can only eat no-good-for-you foods!"
" Okay!"
Remus said" Can I revoke that statement for her own good?"
Sirius and James said" No!"
" Fine. You can stay up with the hyper 13 year old half the night."
" Worth it!"

We were cheering on the boys as they played against Slytherin, I shivered as a cold chill hit.
Remus said" I told you to bring your scarf, Ezra." I giggled at him, he chuckled and wrapped his scarf around my neck,
I said" But you'll get cold, Moony."
" I'll be fine. I don't get cold easily." Gryffindor scored, specifically... Our Gryffindor boy scored, we all screamed for Sirius. I flinched a little at the loudness and nuzzled into Remus' side, he rubbed my back." You all right, darling?"
" Yeah... I'm okay." He sighed and kissed my head, I sighed and relaxed again.

I was squeezed by James, I laughed and held onto his arms, scrunching up my face.
I said" Noo! You stink, Jamesie!" He laughed, and ruffled my hair, Sirius hugged me too," Paddy! Noo!"
Remus said" Leave her be, you two! Bloody hell, we're not going anywhere with you until you smell better!"
Sirius laughed" Do we really stink?!"
Remus, Peter and I said" Yeah!"
James laughed" Ow! We're broken!" He sobbed, jokingly, then laughed,
Sirius said" Fine, fine. She needs warmer clothes! We'll be meet in the great hall in an hour." Remus and Peter looked at me, I pouted at them," What?"
Remus said" Do you not notice who's clothes she has now?"
" Oh, yeah! Your scarf and Pete's gloves! Have fun!"

I simply stole one of Remus' jumpers, pulling it on, it basically engulfed me, Remus and Peter walked into their dorm where I was. Peter laughed,
Remus said" Really, little bird?"
I said" You said to put on warmer clothes! These are warmer clothes."
" How about your own?"
" I barely have any." I pouted,
" It's all right, no sadness on the best day ever. You can wear my clothes anytime you'd like."
Peter said" She's already stolen one of my jumpers." Remus laughed," Can I have it back now?" I picked it up and gave it to him, he laughed," Thanks." I yawned, and laid on James' bed, closing my eyes,
" Sleepy, darling?" I hummed," I'll wake you up when it's time to leave." I hummed again, dozing off-
