"She needs to work on her stress levels", the doctor said as the three of us sat in her cabin. "What have you eaten in last 24 hours?", she asked Brownie.
She didn't answer, earning another disappointed look from the doctor.
"See, she needs to take her medicines and food on time, at least for the baby. If she keeps on missing her meals and medicines then it would be difficult to manage as I'll increase the dosage!", she told us.
She hadn't eaten anything in particular since last night. I'm guessing she didn't even have proper breakfast before she came here because by the time I reached the table, Gracie was still preparing the breakfast.
"You need to scold her doctor! She's really getting arrogant and out of hands. I literally have to push the food down her throat", I complained to the doctor.
"Well, you all have to care for them. It's not easy to bear a child. If you want them to be healthy then make her eat healthy and give her medicines on time", she ordered and dismissed us.

I was very angry by the time we left the clinic. Firstly, she didn't bother to tell me about her health and medicines, then she's skipping her meals without even thinking about our daughter.
She needed to be scolded.
And that can be done only by one person!
Soon we were standing right outside her parents' house. She was busy talking to Arnie about some food and all and didn't notice where we were at. She opened the door to step out of the car but suddenly, halted.
"Wha..what are were doing here?", she exclaimed, getting back in the car.
"It's time. You should meet them", I said as I looked back at Arnie who nodded in agreement.
"No no no!", she went in complete denial. "I can't do this! I'm not even ready for it! What will they think about me??? How will I tell them??", she panicked.
"Hey hey hey!", I cupped her cheeks. "You need to relax. I'll handle them", I said looking right into her eyes so that she could trust me.
