Nero stared at the boy. How could a boy, or is it a boy, be this handsome?

He had blue/gray hair, Just like Blixani's, and he had a purple stripe and a light blue stripe along with his bangs, and his hair was short and curly. He wore a light blue sweater and black leggings. his face was pale, and there was some gray mixed in. His eyes were black and hollow, but affection, cheerfulness, and love still shone in them as bright as the sun. Parts of him were floating in the air like water mixed with oil, and they faded away, only to repeat.

He was adorable.

Then Nero looked at his eyes again, then gasped.

He had octoling eyes.

Just like him.

Unable to stop himself, Nero hugged Ghost, a warm smile spread across his face. Then he pulled back and took in his surroundings.

The entire area was just white, like as if snow covered the whole universe. The only thing that wasn't white was Nero and Ghost's reflections that barely showed below them. Snow softly fell from the sky. Where are we? Nero turned to look at Ghost, who just shrugged. "Not in Rendenburg." he sounded unsure of himself.

Can I go back?

Ghost nodded, but then he had a worried look in his eyes. "You'll be far away, you'll have to find your way back." he paused, then his gaze burned into Nero's. "Are you sure?"

Nero nodded.

"Good luck." Ghost smiled, then he lifted his hand up, then snapped his fingers.

The ground disappeared from Nero's feet, then everything went black again.

Then Nero started falling.

He kept falling, ten seconds turned into fifteen, then twenty, thirty.

Then he hit ground. Then his black vision clouded into colors.

All he could see was the sky and clouds.

I must be lying down.

The ground was warm. Nice ground. I must have hit my head pretty hard. He pushed away from the nice, nice floor and looked around.

It was a meadow. endless hills of soft grass and beautiful flowers, and a pond lay a couple of dozen feet away. The sun was rising, setting the pond a gentle tint. Nero stood up and started walking towards the pond. Then he looked down.

His shadow took the day off.

"What the fuck?!" Nero yelped, then leaped back.

He spoke.

This has turned into the weirdest day ever.

"Wha-?" Nero put a hand to his throat, then glanced at his fingertips. They were like Ghost's, separating a little, but in a pretty way. Pushing the shock of his voice away, Nero broke into a run. Halting at the pond, he looked at his reflection.

He looked kinda cool.

His hair, originally orange with white tips, was full orange and longer than before. He was wearing a cloak, and his eyes were hollow. Under the cloak was his gear, the gear he wore when he was down at the nether train station with Woofla. He had a yellow wristband on his left wrist and a purple "Best friend forever" bracelet from Woofla, which he smiled at. Also, he had a tail. A TAIL. It was a pretty orange tail, and it looked radical. His skin was pale and had a small gray tone to it.

Nero looked up, and back to the world surrounding him. He felt something he had never felt before.

Happiness.

Oh, what a wonderful word.
