Korey's POV:

I was now at home in my room,on my bed just staring at my ceiling,at this moment I wasn't even pissed anymore, I wasn't even scared, I was just numb and my mom wasn't here to give me advice,i sighed and rolled over on my side

I closed my eyes and then I remembered when I was pissed at Jackson,my vision was glowing blue,I opened my eyes and furrowed my eyebrows,why was my vision glowing? I asked myself

I was hoping for that voice in my head to give me an answer but it didn't, so I just sighed again, none of my friends were available due to the project,and right now,I'm not in the mood to do this project,I sighed again but much louder

I got up from my bed and pick up my phone, I looked through my playlist I decided to just listen 'Love in the dark' by Adele,I sighed again while I stare at my ceiling,laying on the ground and listening to the lyrics

5:30pm~

I was now vibing to 'Habibi' by Ricky Rich but then I was rudely interrupted by banging on the door,I don't even know how I heard because my music was loud as fuck,probably the neighbors I said to myself while slowly walking downstairs to answer the door

I didn't turn down my music and I had on a pissed expression,I opened to door to yell at whoever interrupted my vibe,I noticed it was Mason,my expression immediately relaxed,I didn't say anything and just stared at him

He said something but I didn't hear so I yelled "what did you say!?" He yelled back "can I come in?!" I nodded and stepped out of the way,he entered and I locked the door, I went up to my room and he followed me

I noticed he winced, I chuckled to myself,he's probably not used to loud sounds,I turned down my music a bit and he gave me a soft smile and said "thanks" I blushed and nodded,I sat on my bed and he sat on the floor

"Sooo,what do you want?" I said but realized it came out a bit rude,I face palmed myself "not tryna be rude" I quickly said he chuckled "I just wanted to know if you were okay,but seems like you want alone time to vibe?" He said while raising an eyebrow

I blushed again and explained "sorry,my mom is out for a few days and I was bored so I decided to just blast music" he nodded,"well I don't wanna disturb you,but just know you can message me anytime you need me" he said while giving me a warm smile

"Yeah,thanks" I mumbled while blushing a bit,"what song is this?" he asked,I strained my ears to hear,I smiled a bit and said "Middle of the Night by Elley Duhé" he nodded and I heard him mumble,"I kinda like it"

I blushed at parts of the lyrics and looked away from Mason,"when's your birthday?" Mason suddenly asked,"my birthday is in 4 months,basically next year" i said matter of factly, he nodded

"When's yours?"I asked,he looked at me blanky and said "I turned 19 this year" he said then I remembered I skipped a year so of course he's older,i hummed and turned my music up a bit,loud enough so I can hear

It was now playing 'Fire on Fire' by Sam Smith,I closed my eyes and hummed to the lyrics,I badly wanted to start shouting the lyrics but Mason was there,I opened my eyes and noticed Mason was looking at me and smiling

I blushed "what?" I mumbled and he said "you look like you wanna sing,why not sing? I'd like to hear you sing" he said and I blushed even harder, I know I can sing but I'm too shy to sing infront of him

He replayed the song to the start and started singing I was amazed by his voice and the way he was looking at me in my eyes and singing so smoothly,my heart was skipping beats but i guess he hyped me up enough to make me stand and take a brush to use it as a microphone
