Mason's POV:

I'm Mason, I'm not a human,I'm a wolf,but it seems like my mate is human, it's rare here when a wolf is mated with a human especially a future alpha,how will I even tell Korey that he's my mate?

I sit on the sofa,then I heard a low growl behind me,I stand up,turn around and I see a woman who looks similar to Korey so I'm assuming that's his mom,his mom is an Alpha..

"What are you doing on my territory kid?"she growled while glaring at me I growled back and said "I'm doing a project with your son Ma'am" she stops growling and looked at me with fearful eyes

"Does he know he isn't human?..." she asked her voice trembling, "he isn't human??,so what is he?"I asked her,I smelled a powerful aura radiating from him when I saw him but I shrugged it off

The woman sighs,"listen kid,my son doesn't know what he's capable of,when he turns 18 next year,he'll shift and dangerous creatures of all kind will want to kill him and have his blood she explained, I can sense her worry for her son

"I'm an Arctic Wolf Alpha,Korey's dad is a Red Wolf Beta,normally Arctic wolves don't mate with Red wolves, so when we mated we knew our child would be rare,but at the moment, i don't exactly know what kind of Wolf Korey is,but as his birthday is near, I can sense his power"

"And Korey has a twin brother,his father ran off with him,he had to,because if those two powerful sons of ours grew up together, they would attract more dangerous creatures to this world,they would awake demons" Korey's mother explained to me

I nodded "i understand,and your son seems to be my mate,I would do anything I can to protect and help him" I said matter of factly,she looked at me and smiled warmly,"you'd make a great Alpha, my boy",my eyes soften

"Hey,what are you guys talking about? Sorry I took so long" Korey said while descending the stairs,I looked at him blanky and was deep in thought, his future doesn't seem bright....

"Everthing is fine love,yall do your project while I continue preparing dinner" Korey's mom softly said,Korey nodded, he led me back up to his room,"so...what should we do with the project now?" Korey asked while looking at me and fidgeting with his fingers

"What do you know about wolves history?" I asked him,he looked at me like I asked a dumb question, he cleared his throat and said "well...I don't know much about wolves past,sorry" I just stared at him,he's very cute not gonna lie...

"Do you believe in wolves that shift into human?" I blurted out,fuck,I'm an idiot,he stared at me like I'm dumb,"you mean something like Teen Wolf?"I looked at him,oh,he knows that show too,"yeah,do you believe that exists?"

He chuckled lightly, "No,I don't believe those exists",why did that hurt?... because it's like him saying he doesn't believe we exists..Rio,my inner wolf said,"we can look up on the internet" Korey said,I nodded,"yeah, we'll work on wolves past and then we can talk about their present life" Korey nodded agreeing with me

2 hours later~

The internet doesn't seem to know the real history of wolves,"It's 7:37pm and I'm hungry, we should continue tomorrow" Korey said while getting up and packing away his stuff,I nodded and got up to help him but he was already done

We both go into the kitchen to see that his mom already placed food on the table "would you like to stay for a while and eat?" She asked gently, I was about to turn down the offer when my stomach growled,"yeah,thanks" I said while sitting on one of the chairs

Korey sat next to me and his mom sat adjacent to him,I can smell his scent, he smells so good,he smells like honey and sunflowers,I want to be with him every step of the way,I have a feeling he'll encounter alot of hardships in his life

But I'll be there to comfort him,I'm determined to be with my mate every step of the way,and especially when he turns 18 and has to shift, I'm a little eager to find out what kind of Wolf my mate is

I'm a Red Wolf, it's ranked 2nd on the wolf chart,I wonder if it's possible Korey is a Grey Wolf...it's the 1st on the chart,they are Alpha of alphas,he'd be incredibly powerful, I've never seen a Grey wolf in my life and I'm 19

But it could be possible the he is a Grey wolf, his mom is an Arctic Wolf Alpha, they are actually quite special and rare, I heard they can see bits of the future and past,his parents are both quite special

"Are you going to eat?" Korey asked looking at me a bit worried, I just realized I haven't even eaten a bite I was just glaring at the food,"yeah,sorry, I zoned out a bit" I said while going to eat my food

An hour later~

"Thanks for the food ma'am" I said to Korey's mother and I'm about to leave,"can you come over tomorrow at 4:00pm?" Korey asked behind his mom fidgeting with his fingers and biting his bottom lips

Damn,he needs to stop doing that, It's literally so hard to not jump at him and sweep him in my arms and kiss him,I nodded and bid my farewell as I walk down the streets,I turn to the forest, stripped naked and began to shift

I'm now in my wolf form,I pick up my clothes in my mouth and began running through the woods,jumping over logs and dodging sticks,I finally reach the den,wolves that passed by me nodded their head to show respect to their future alpha

"Son,I want to see you,meet me in my office" My dad said through our mind link,I sighed and trotted to his office, I howl and he barked letting me know I could come in,"shift so we can talk" my dad said through mind link,I sighed again shifted into my human form

Yes,I'm naked, but to wolves nudity doesn't bother us,"you called Alpha?" My dad shifted and chuckled,"son I already said you don't have to call me Alpha when we're alone,just call me father" I nodded,"Alright Father, what do you need?" My dad's scowls and his eyes began to glow

"Calm down father, what's the matter?" I asked and his eyes stopped glowing "there's a pack on my turf" he said irritated,"have you talked to them yet father?" I asked,he shook his head "No son,but I can sense pups in the pack so I won't immediately attack, I'll go and talk to them and ask them to move"

"What if they don't move father?" I asked,already knowing what will have to happen,"we fight my boy, our pack has been on this land for generations, I won't let them have this land" My dad said

"I understand father, but what did you call me for?" I asked raising my eyebrows,my dad looked at me with pity "son,have you found your mate yet?" I smiled at him "yes father, he goes to my school, i was with him today so that's why I came back late"

My dad looked amused "so it's a boy?" I blushed and nodded, he chuckled,"it's alright son, the Moon Goddess knows what she's doing,i hope.." I looked at my dad and told him "My mate is 17,he hasn't shifted yet and he doesn't know he's a wolf,but it seems like he could be a rare one"

"His mom is an Arctic Wolf Alpha and his dad is a Red Wolf Beta", my dad eyes widened "that child could end up being a Grey wolf and that's a special breed,haven't seen one in all my years...they are quite rare y'know,even heard that they went extinct"

My dad looks sad and worried,"what's wrong father?" I asked worried, he looked me in the eyes and said "if your mate is a Grey wolf,he'll go through alot of hardships in his life,since he's rare,he can awake demons and dangerous creatures will come for him and take his blood"

My heart ached as I know what my father is saying is true,I don't want my mate to die or be taken away from me..."he won't, we'll protect him and train him to be strong and able to protect himself" Rio said,I nodded, my father hugged me and told me I can go

"I will protect and train you Korey,i promise, I'll prepare you for hardships that will come our way", I mumbled,
