The scroll that binds us

Feelings...

"...im sorry i cant do it"

I ran out as red as a tomato.
i didn't care that i only had a shirt and shorts on
I just knew that i couldn't stay with Naruto without either confessing or maybe taking things too far
It was still early so i went back to the compound and decided to just sleep for a bit because while it was only early morning a lot had already happened

[Naruto pov]

After watching Hinata run out i was left dumbstruck
I knew i wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed
But i knew now that Hinata was just too nice to confront me about what had happened
I think that if anything it made me like her even more .
she was so kind trying to make me feel better for something that was entirely my fault, i decided that the least i could do was wash and dry her clothes as she had left them at my home...i then realised i also had some of her 'other' clothes in my room that she changed out of,i started thinking of all that had happened, i was happy that she was at my home even if it was only 1 night, i couldn't stop thinking about her, her smile, her hair, how kind and yet strong she is not to mention those beautiful eyes.

As i was drying the clothes i started thinking
"do i... possibly... lov-"
"Hey Naruto! Don't forget to report to tsunade"
It was Kiba shouting from outside the door, he must've know Hinata was back so he came to make sure i wasn't lazing about
I left and put all of Hinata's clothes in a bag we got from shopping yesterday that i would take to granny tsunade's office

I added a note to the top of the bag
*Meet me at the training grounds in 3 days ^_^*
[i decided on 3 days as i felt like it was enough time to ponder on my feelings
(i also added a smiley face to make it more light hearted)]

I was even trying to think about everything on my way to the office
I guessed that Hinata would probably be there waiting and i thought it would be in our best interests to keep it strictly business

[sakura pov]

i was sat at my normal table at the tea house with Ino,Choji and Shikamaru
I saw naruto walking past and was about to call out until i saw Naruto actually...pondering on something while holding a white bag with flowers on it, i decided to let him be as its abnormal for naruto to actually think about things

[back to Naruto]

Thinking
'Alright its sorted , i definitely like her...maybe even love, but...does she...love me ...too?"
I was finally there ,granny Tsunade's office i was waiting at the door when i heard it

It was Hinata

"Please tsunade" Hinata was pleading
I recoiled, i could already guess what was happening

'I hate him'

'Hes a vile pig'

'He makes me uncomfortable'

'I never want to see him again'

My mind ran at a thousand miles per hour

"Okay hinata i understand the situation, give it 2 missions tops and after that i promise it will be at least 1 out of 4 missions that way he doesnt get suspicious"

"Thank you so much, Tsunade-sama"

I made sure to wait for about 10 seconds before i opened the door
As soon as i opened the door i saw Hinata's face shoot away and i could tell she was blushing
But i also knew i probably wasn't too much better off

"Granny tsunade"
"Naruto.. How was the mission?"
"It was..(blushing)...an experience ...i learnt a lot"
'Hinata started to blush more than before to the point she had to start covering her face and turning away from even Tsunade'
"Naruto?"
"Yes tsunade?"
"Was the mission successful?!...and WHERE is the scroll?!"
"OH Right,there were some rogue ninja at the beginning who also held an A rank ninja in the bingo book but thankfully Hinat-"
Hinata squeaks at the mention of her name
"...Hinata thankfully saved my life from the man in the bingo book and i believe she found the scroll in his possession"
"Ok then thank you Naruto... Hinata where is the scroll now"
"Oh i believe it should be in my pocket still..."
Hinata quickly looked over to me before turning back around in an embarrassed flash and i realised the problem
She wasn't wearing the same clothes as yesterday
"Oops sorry tsunade"
I rustle in the bag i brought with Hinatas clothes in it then pull out the scroll
{wait does tsunade realise i have hinata's clothes now} i think after pulling out the scroll
She took a glance at Shizune that i had seen before,

she definitely bet on something

I quickly place it on her desk
"Are we finished here?" i ask trying to get out of the situation before Tsunade can ask questions
"Hinata can leave but Naruto i need to ask you something"
"Thank you Tsunade-sama"
I gave her a soft smile before she left to try and lighten the tension between us to which Hinata's blush came back after only just disappearing
I watched Hinata quickly leave trying to make her presence from the situation as small as possible only to be brought back to reality by Tsunade
"Naruto..."
"Yes? Granny Tsunade"
"What do you think of Hinata?"
I could tell by the heat i could feel and how tsunade was looking at me that i was blushing
"I think shes kind but also fiercely strong."
"Yes...But how do you feel about her?"
I decided i would just tell tsunade as out of all people she might just be the most helpful
"I-l L-like h-her"
"DID YOU JUST STUTTER!?...Wow you really like her don't you"
"I really do...shes beautiful,kind,smart,shes always so considerate of others,Her smile makes my heart beat like a drum,everything she does is so elegant and thats not to mention those gorgeous eyes she has..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Did i go on for too long?"
"Naruto ... do you love hinata?"
"H-HUH!!!...W-W-WHAT MAKES Y-YOU T-THINK T-TH-THAT?"
"Naruto ... do...you...love...Hinata?"
"...I-Its p-possible"
Tsunade 's demeanor had entirely changed after i said that from being serious to jumping over the desk in happiness to hug me
"Haha Naruto"
"ITS NOT FUNNY I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT I SHOULD DO"
"Im not laughing at you naruto,im happy for you, i just didn't think this day would come...for you to actually be in love"
"Granny!...what do i do?"
"Unfortunately...i cant tell you what to do, but what i don't think you realise is that...you just admitted you love her,so whats the problem?"
"SHES HINATA HYUGA!!!"
Tsunade just looked at me almost as if she was confused
"OF THE HYUGA CLAN !?!?"
"I still don't see the problem, except possibly her father wouldn't be happy with it?"
"Thats not the problem"
"Then what is!"
"Theres no way someone as beautiful and kind as her can like me..."
"..."
"..."
"Pfft HaHaHaHaHaHa" tsunade and Shizune burst out in a fit of laughter grabbing their gut"
"Nuh-naruto Pfft just..just go HaHaHa"
I left the building still able to hear Tsunade in hysterics
"Shit! I gotta find hinata"
