Allegiant SPOILER - If Tris was alive

Chapter 19

Tobias's pov
"Who wants to come see the beautiful baby girl," said the midwife as she was taking us into the room Susan was in. I was watching tris and all I saw in her face was complete excitement. We never really spoke about having children, probably because she knew I had a rough childhood and that was not a common topic often talked about, but one part of me right now wishes we had spoken about it. Seeing her this excited about being an aunty made my heart melt, do flips, I felt something I never had before.
We finally got into the room and the first thing I saw was a baby glowing in Calebs arms, she really was beautiful. I walked over to Caleb as the girls all swarmed Susan, "do you want a hold?" I nodded and Caleb passed me the little bundle of perfection. I didn't realize everyone was watching me until I heard Susan awing and tris came and stood by my side.
"Why the awwws, I'm just trying not to drop your baby," everyone laughed and I passed the baby to Tris. All I saw in her eyes was love and want for the child, imagine if it was our own what would she look like then? I got snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the baby start to grizzle, Tris took her to Susan then walked back to me.
"Tobias I can't wait till it's our turn," she said as she snuggled her head into my shoulder and we both watched the happy couple settle the baby.
After everyone had there holds we left Susan and Caleb to some peace with their daughter. On the way home all I could hear were Christina and Tris tossing around baby names, that they really liked. I couldn't help but laugh to myself as I heard some of there creations, and some just simple ones like Grace were nice. However I knew what Caleb was thinking and I was waiting to see if they would actually choose that name. We all got out the car, and Christina went to her house while Tris and I entered ours. I couldn't help but hug her as she shut the front door behind her.

Tris POV is
I was surprised when I shut the door to have Tobias give me a massive hug, don't get me wrong I loved it but I knew straight away something was going threw his head. I pulled back and looked him in the eye, waiting a little before I spoke.
"What's going through that head of yours baby?" He smiled and held my head in his hands. " Beatrice I'm just thinking of our future together and how much I want to be holding our baby in my arms next time." before he let me respond he leant down and kissed me. It felt different, more passionate then before. He pulled away and smiled at me, just as we were about to kiss again, his phone went off. "I'll just check that, Then meet you upstairs." he gave me a peck and waited for me to get upstairs. I got ready for bed and just waited for the love of my life to join me.

(Authors note: Hey Guys, I know I say this a lot but sorry I haven't updated! Had so many internals which were doing my head in -.- but now I'm off school for two weeks and I'm going to try my best to get this story finished. I am so overwhelmed by the amount of reads, votes and comments I'm receiving.
