• Patrick's disappearance •

I've been wanting to write this for so long and even tho I said I'd do more Christmasy stuff (which I will) I'd like to get this over with.

Sidenote: I know "meeting the gang" happened during a scene right before Patrick's disappearance and I said I wouldn't include Pennywise - but for this chapter I will and let's please ignore the fact that I messed up the timeline :))

Anyways

• Kids have been disappearing all around Derry lately.
• seeing their faces plastered all over town was taking a toll on you.

• you've grown paranoid and felt unsafe going outside, thinking that someone or something was lurking in the shadows, ready to take you away

• you'd only go out if the boys were with you.

• of course you were scared for them too.
• telling them all the time to be careful
• but they all brushed it off, saying that everything would be fine anyways

• on this one particular day, your boys went out together without you
• you declined their invitation after hearing their plans for the day
• which was just them harrasing other kids
• the usual, yaknow.

• and of course you again lectured them to be careful

• the day was going by slowly with you just chilling at home, with bothing to worry about.

• until you got a call from Henry

• "Y/n I need you to come to the kissing bridge as soon as possible"

• he didn't give you any information about what was going on, but his tone sounded alarmed
• So, despite it already being late, you decided to go.

• took you about 10 minutes to get there.
• the boys were waiting for you
• well...
• minus one.

• "Hey guys, where'd you loose the maniac?"

• they didn't answer you
• they didn't even look at you
• and you relaized something definetly wasn't okay

• you asked again
• But only got a faint "We don't know" from Victor.

• "okay what the hell is going on?!"

• you didn't believe them when they told you...

• when they told you he didn't return from their search of Ben Hanscom.
• when the told you they waited for him for what felt like forever.
• that they looked for him for more than an hour with no luck
• that they couldn't find him...
• and that he, your boy, your guy's Patrick Hockstetter, disappeared

• disappeared just like those kids, whose white faces stared at you from newspapers
and every corner of Derry.

• You thought they were joking
• pranking you, just like they usually did

• "Okay Patrick, you can come out now! I'm not buying it!"

• the three just stared at you
• with sad, disappointed and angry gazes

• "you think this is a joke Y/n?!" - Henry approached you - "it's-"
•"Yea, and It's NOT FUNNY!"

• before Henry could say/yell anything else, he was yanked away by Reggie
• who then gently wrapped you in his arms.

• when his saddned gaze met yours, it suddenly hit you like a truck
• they weren't joking
• they actually couldn't find Patrick.

• you broke down then, as all three boys huddled around you
• listening to you yelling about how this couldn't be reality
• how you knew Pat was strong enough to return unharmed
• how you wouldn't accept him being gone

• and the boys agreed with you.

• and you searched again
• and again
• and again

• until the dead of the night, when your worried parents found you guys almost frozen in the streets
• They almost had a heart attack when they saw the tears

• you finally told them what happened after arriving home (ofc the boys were also displayed in their homes)
• they provided you as much comfort as they could
• which was ofc not enough to soothe you

• you didn't sleep that night
• or the night after

• and soon you started seeing missing posters of Patrick hang around town.
