Cafetaria rumours

After my math class all other classes were boring and I almost dozed off. The school bells ringing indicating that the first session was over. I got to my senses stretched up a bit, that's when I saw few bench marks on my arms. Satisfied by the short nap I get out of the class and walk towards the cafeteria. While I was about to turn, a loud sound from by back caught my attention. I turned around to see what had happened and I saw Zara on the ground with a pained expression on her face.

"Oh my god Zara are you okay?"
I quickly rushed towards her to pick her up. She got on her feet and dusted her pants.

"Yeah I'm fine, I just wanted to scare you but I slipped over that snack package.
Whoever threw that I summon you to hell."

She looked over the package and kicked it playfully. I couldn't help but laugh at her stupidity that's what she gets for trying to scare me.

"That's karma bitch, next time don't try to scare me."

I told with a sly grin on my face, she gawked at annoyance and dragged me inside the cafeteria.

"Hey, I've got a steaming news to tell you today."

"Really? I hope it's as steamy as you are expressing it right now."

"Oh come on Y/N you are no fun.
Don't stop me in the middle till I finish the whole news okay? "

" Sure ma'am go ahead." I looked at her uninterested about the subject she was gonna speak about. I guessed that it would rather be a rumour or it would be something from the class group chat conversations. Zara was quite interested in gossips.

"Cool. I'll break into the subject directly." She stated.

"Yes you should or else I wouldn't mind walking out off here."

"Girl what's gotten into you today? Your all on fire."

"Yeah whatever."

"Ok now just stop interrupting me and listen. Will you ?"

"I'm all ears."

"Great. I heard that Park Jimin has a girlfriend." She screamed after finishing the sentence. She looked a bit hurt by the news but she wasn't showing it off.

"Y/N I just said BTS member PARK JIMIN has a freaking girlfriend!!!! You have nothing to say??? Oh my god are you a rock??"

"Zara, do you think I can't hear?? I heard what you said but I have nothing to do with it. Wait , I heard he is your bias too so.... I would say sorry? "

"Aren't you curious who that lucky girl is Y/N ?"

"See Zara, he is a famous celebrity who studies here. Other than that I have no interest to dig in about his private life. I'm least bothered about other's matters I have already got enough in my plate."

I finished saying my thoughts after her so called 'news' and got up to put the used plate inside the bin.

"I don't think I can concentrate in my classes after hearing this."
She said still shocked by the rumours she had been believing.

"Zara, don't let the rumours get you and even if they are true we have not to do with other people's lives just finish your food before the bell rings."

And almost as if the bell could hear me it rang indicating that the break was over. The second session is not going to be that interesting either.... I said to myself and rushed our ways to the classes.

Current class : Geography

The students greeted the teacher and she started her lecture right after that. I couldn't help but stay a bit fazed by something which shouldn't be bothering me.
