Sonic's POV
It's almost finished, now it just needs the finishing touches. I run over to Tails's workshop and ask him for some things i need
Sonic: Tails, I need jumper cables.
Tails reaches into his toolbox without looking and grabs a pair of jumper cables. I grab them and run off. But then i'm back wanting something else
Sonic: You got any duct tape?
Tails once again reaches into his toolbox, and holds up a roll of duct tape. And i take it and run off then I realise I need one more thing.
Sonic: (runs back in) How about a battery?
Then Tails asks me which one i need while still focusing on his invention
Tails: Antimatter or self-generating?
Sonic: I don't know. Something with a lot of juice.
Tails: Antimatter's on the top shelf, behind the video games.
Sonic: Thanks.
Then I grabbed it and I was outside with Knuckles as I was working on a fun device and I was using Knuckles as my test subject. Once it was finished i was holding the jumper cables
Sonic: Ha! Initiate "Spinning Blades of Death"!
Then Knuckles questions the name for a second as he was sitting on top of the Tails mobile
Knuckles: "Spinning Blades of Death"? I guess that sounds safe.
Then I started the invention as Tails comes in and watches us. Its fans start to spin and so does Knuckles. It was working perfectly!
Knuckles: Whoo-hoo-hoo!
Sonic: Activating Hyper Mode
Then i flip a switch on the batteries and it goes faster
Knuckles: Yeaaaaah!
Sonic: (hears my Communicator beep) Oh. (activates it) Sonic here
Amy apparently was calling me it seemed pretty urgent from the sounds of it
Amy: Sonic, did you return the book I lent you to the library?
Oh...i forgot about that book she gave me
Sonic: Um... not... yet?
Then I hear Knuckles flinging off the invention but ignore it as I know I'm about to get yelled at by Amy about this book.
Amy: It's due today! If you don't return it on time, I'll have to pay late fees, Sonic!
Then I hear her shout "late fees" in the communicator and I know she's overreacting. I mean it's due today. I just gotta return it today, it's not a problem.
