Nara stood on the driveway behind Mark's car, placing the last of the boxes into the trunk.

"I think I'm ready." Nara said, closing the trunk before turning to look at her mother.

Her mother took the initiative, stepping forward with her arms out. Nara responded by stepping forward as well and wrapping her arms around her mom.

"I'll miss waking up to your food and I'll miss you." Nara whispered, feeling herself wanting to stay in the moment forever.

"I'll miss you too and I'm glad you're not moving too far." Her mother said, chuckling a bit at the end at the realization.

The two released from the hug, Nara's mother then turning to Mark.

"Please take good care of her." She told him to which he nodded, adjusting the toddler in his arms slightly.

"I will." Mark replied.

Nara's mother smiled at him before averting her attention to the toddler, her odd smile once again forming.

"I hope to see you soon as well, Kara." She said, patting the head of the toddler who rested it on Mark's chest as a sense of security and gave a little nod.

"We should get going now to put everything up and buy her things." Mark told Nara and she nodded, going to her mom to give her one last hug.

"Make sure to visit." Her mother reminded her and Nara nodded.

"I will." She replied.

With that, her mother walked back to the front door of her home, waving at the small family as she watched Mark hand Kara to Nara to buckle her in while he got the car on.

Nara and Mark waved one last time before finally driving off.

"Are you gonna be okay?" Mark asked Nara, glancing at her with his eyes full of sympathy as he felt his heart clench a bit at the sight of Nara being obviously sad.

"I'll be okay." Nara assured, giving him a sad smile.

Kara looked at her parents, seeing how the two were being so silent throughout the car ride.
She knew that it was still the first day of her parents being together, but wanted to get her job started immediately.

Out of nowhere, Kara started a tantrum, her whines starting off small before finally increasing.

Mark and Nara became shocked at the suddenness, their minds immediately snapping away from the thoughts of Nara being sad and now focusing on why Kara could be having such a tantrum.

"What's wrong?" Nara asked as she turned in her seat, not wanting Mark to avert his attention away from the road.

"You and Daddy aren't holding hands!" Kara wailed out, causing Mark and Nara to glance at each other with unease.

"You'll stop crying if we hold hands?" Nara asked the toddler who nodded, her cries quieting down.

At that, Nara held out her hand which Mark immediately held and like promised, Kara stopped crying and instead cheered.

"Thank you!" She exclaimed, kicking her feet in glee as she felt the tingles that both her parents felt as well.

"I forgot that's her job." Mark said, adjusting the hand that held Nara's hand so his could be more comfortable.

"Job?" Nara asked, still new to the entire thing.

"Yeah, she was brought to us to help bring us together. At least that's what my friends told me." Mark said, parking his car near the sidewalk.

"Let's get these boxes down so then we could head to the store and get things for her." Mark told her and she nodded, unclasping their hands so she could undo her seatbelt and help Mark get the boxes out.

"I'll get Kara out first, then." She told him and Mark nodded, unlocking the trunk before getting out of the car to go unlock the front door of the home.

Nara took Kara out of her car seat and carried her inside the home, placing her on the couch and telling her to stay there to which the toddler gave her a thumbs up.

The couple began to bring the boxes inside, leaving them all in the living room and told themselves they would unpack it once they got home.

"I think that's the last of it." Mark said, placing the last box down after the 15 minutes it took them to bring it down due to them struggling and joking with each other.

"Should we go to the store now then?" Nara asked and Mark nodded, letting out a small tired sigh.

"We should." He replied with a smile and went to grab Kara but Nara stopped him.

"Are you sure? You look really tired now. I don't want you having to worry about doing more things that we can always do later." Nara said, worrying about Mark being tired, which he smiled at.

"Actually, a small break would be nice. Let me just lock the door then." He said, clicking the buttons on his keys and confirming that it was locked once the alarm beeped twice.

Once he confirmed, Mark sat on the couch next to the two, Kara being in the middle of the couple.

"Thank you for helping me out." Nara told Mark with a smile, already feeling glad that Mark is her soulmate.

"It's really no problem," He shortly said before grabbing the remote and turning on the TV, putting on a kids show for Kara.

"How are you feeling?" He asked Nara who shrugged.

"I was really nervous in the morning but I think I'm fine now which is really shocking to me like I didn't expect myself to feel fine already." Nara said, laughing a bit at the last part. "How are you?"

Mark gave a small smile as he looked away for a second, a bit shy to speak.

"To be honest, I was hella nervous. Like, this morning, I literally woke up being a father with a soulmate who just so happened to be the same girl I met the day before. I was really nervous and was freaking out all morning and didn't know what to do. But after my friends explained everything to us and gave us advice, I started feeling fine. It was really reassuring plus, you've been really nice so far so that makes me feel good, too. I'm still nervous for what's gonna happen tomorrow and the day after and so on, but for now, I feel perfectly alright." Mark ranted and Nara smiled, glad to hear that he was feeling the same way.

Unconsciously, Nara's hand once again got a hold of Marks, the tingling sensation once again coming back to the three of them.

"We'll be alright, Mark. We got this." Nara assured him and instead of becoming shocked like before, Mark smiled.

"We do got this."

With that, the two turned their heads to watch the show, relaxing for a bit before heading to the store for their toddler.

"So far so good."

"I know! And it's still barely their first day!" Someone said as they observed how close the couple was already becoming. It was quite shocking to them all actually.

"Don't jinx this." Someone else said, hoping nothing bad would happen.

"I really don't want anyone to jinx this."
