Just noticed that I got to 5k views 😳 thank you so much!
Taylor's POV:
How many times am I going to end up on the floor this week?
Well, this mission has accomplished me absolutely nothing. Rien. Nada. But, wait, it did accomplish me pepper spray to the face!
I do know one thing, though; Amos cannot be the culprit. Either that or he's wearing heels. [thank you, readlikeaswiftie]
So that leaves who I didn't really suspect in the first place...
Nicole.
That little hooligan!
At least Ed can check up on her for me since they're still kinda-sorta dating.
I stand up quickly and grab my newly fixed home phone and dial Ed's number.
All I hear is that ringing sound, and then Ed's voicemail; "Hey, you've reached Ed Sheeran. I'm probably busy doing something right now- otherwise I would've answered- so leave a message!"
There's no chance of Ed hearing any message I leave, which I've learned the hard way. I guess I'll have to text him.
Me: u there?
I waited for a good five minutes.
Ed: yeah, sorry that took so long. I've had a busy day. What's up?
Me: Well, looks like Amos isn't our culprit, unless he was dressed as a woman walking on heels. Can you try and get some info out of Nicole?
Ed: yeah, I'll try, she's still so obsessed with me that I don't even have to call her anymore. She'll come over.
Me: bye, good luck.
Ed: I'll need it.
I sigh. I have the feeling we'll catch our culprit pretty soon.
Ed's POV:
"Yes, Ed, my sugar bagel? My blueberry bacon? What was it you wanted to talk to me about? Do you wanna get back together again? 'Cuz I would really love that!" Nicole batts her eyelashes at me. I roll my eyes; her nicknames for me are absolutely ridiculous.
"No, Nicole, we're not getting back together. I wanted to know about the mysterious notes."
"Oh, you mean the notes in Taylor's house? I know all about those! You see, the leaver of the notes is-"
She turns so pale that not a trace of her phony orange tan is left.
"I've said too much, haven't I? Well, I'd better leave now-"
"No, Nicole," I stop her at the door. "You're not going anywhere until you tell me all you know."
"Okay..." stutters Nicole. "But you'd better sit down."
