Nicki wobbled into the baby's room where Safaree was packing the instructions back in the box.

" Faree is the crib ready? "

" Yeah I just finished " He said calmly.

" Ok thank you "

" if your hungry there's food downstairs. I won't mind sharing It out for you. "

" I'm fine. The girls ate? "

" Yeah their watching a movie "

" Alright thanks " He walked passed Nicki and to their room. Nicki followed him and sat at the edge of the bed next to him.

" My mom is coming into town next week for the baby and I was thinking you could invite your mom ya know. "

" No thanks "

" Have you talked to Amber's parents since the incident? "

" No "

" What about the custody issue? "

" I don't know. I have court on the 12th. So I guess we'll see "

" Mommy said she's praying for you "

" Tell her I said thank you "

" I'm praying for you too "

" Thanks " Nicki grabbed his hand and intertwined their hands.

" I have counseling this week if you want to go with me and talk to her if you don't want to talk to me. She listens and her advises are great. "

" No thank you " Safaree continued to stare at the blank TV. She laid her head on his shoulder.

" Amen " Nicki looked up at him and kissed his cheek.

" Safaree I don't know what your going through and I only could imagine the hurt and pain that your feeling. But baby something's got to give and it's going to. "

" when Nic when? I'm tired physically and emotionally tired. I can't sleep I can't eat. I just want to be ok and I'm not. "

" What's bothering you? "

" Everything "

" Like what? "

" Like I'm the only parent that Jay has and people want to take her from me that bothers me. Why would Amber kill her self ? that bothers me everyday cause I don't know what to tell my child. The fact that you still have conversations with Meek pisses me off. This, all of this pisses me off and it bothers me to the point where I don't want to be here. Nicki I need a break from this from everything. So you know what after the baby is born, we'll take a DNA test and if the baby is not mine, I'm taking Jay and I'm going to New York for a while. "

" And if the baby is yours? "

" I highly doubt that it is " Safaree said then walked out.
