Riley's POV

Studio A looking like brings back so many memories. Whether that be when James took me around the world on our first day or our final date before he rushed off to London
These four walls have seen the thick and thin of mine and James' relationship. Whether that be a sweet slow dance or a heated argument this was always the common denominator and I somehow knew one day, we would end up back in this exact position
"To us" James said lifting his glass just like he did on our first date
I smiled as I tapped out glasses together
"To us" I replied making James smile
"Listen Ri, I never meant for any of this with Marie to happen. You've got to believe me" He said and I nodded. I knew he was sorry and after my conversation with John then Marie I know James wasn't at fault for the kiss
He was at fault with his poor call of judgement
"I know James, I do believe you" I replied
"She doesn't mean a damn thing" He replied and I chuckled. For the first time in a while. I believe him
James and I have never had it easy but maybe that's just how our relationship is meant to be. Maybe easy love just isn't for us
"Do you want to dance?" James asked and I chuckled
"There is no music?" i said and he winked at me before pulling out his phone
Music slowly started to come through the speakers of his phone
"Can I have this dance?" He asked bowing in front of me offering his hand, I smiled before taking his hand
"of course" I replied

Without a second thought, James spun me around before bringing me close, I smiled into his shoulder as we began to slow dance
Being this close to James I knew this was the place I was meant to be, there was no shadow of doubt in my eyes
I was stupid for ever running off to New York. This place will always be my home. James will always be my home
We continued to move to the music and as the lyrics began to arise I pulled away looking at James
"What is this song?" I asked and James grinned like a child
"It's another one from the Album, it's called All I Want To Say " He smiled. He was proud of it and it shows, I smiled back at him gently cupping his cheek watching as his dimples came on show
"You wrote it?" I asked and he nodded
"About?" I asked wanting to know if my suspicions were correct
"You of course, Riley you're the only person I ever right songs about" He laughed spinning me around before bring me back to him

I think since I came home, I was scared to let anyone in. I was scared of history repeating itself but I should have given James more credit
When I needed someone he was there, even when I didn't know I needed someone. It was him, he was always there
The song was coming to and end and I couldn't help but want to stay in this moment forever
Just James and I..
"Ri" James said making me hum and pull away slightly to look at him
"I love you" He replied making me widen my eyes every so slightly while smiling
"I love you too" I replied before he pressed our lips together gently

--

"Come with me" James said kissing the top of my head as the music stopped, I looked at him a little confused but happily followed him
After a small walk we were at the park. I looked at James still a bit confused but then I remembered. If it wasn't Studio A, this was where James and I would spend our time together
"Do you remember what happened on this bench?" I chuckled as James and I sat down
"Sometimes in life, you've gotta stop and smell the shawarma" He smiled placing his arm over my shoulder
"And then we met your kooky aunt Cathy" I replied
"Great lady but still kooky" James said putting it in quotations
"Remember how embarrassed you got when I was talking to strangers on the bus" James smiled, that was a day James taught me a valuable lesson
"Strangers? They're just friends you haven't met yet" I said gasping at the end with a small laugh making James laugh too
"I will forever live by that" He smile
James soon stood up taking my hand in his as we continued to walk through the park before coming to Parkour Alley
This place still hasn't changed at all
The wall still covered head to two in graffiti while the picnic bench sat there looking knackered as ever
"Do you think it's the same bench?" I asked looking around the bench
"Only one way to find out?" James suggested, I smiled walking over to the edge of the bench on the left side of the seat and there it was
When James and I got back together after Beth, James carved our names in the side of the bench to prove that we were stronger then anything
I can't believe after all these years the bench is still here
"We've had a crazy few years" I smiled as James stood back up, I took his hand in mine looking up at him with a smile
"I wouldn't have wanted to go through it with anyone else" He smiled cupping my cheek, I smiled into his hand
God this boy. There is just something about him the just constantly pulls me back in
"I can't wait for the moment I can call you mine again" James said placing our foreheads against each other, I placed my hand on top of his as it continued to cup my cheek
"What are you waiting for?" I whispered, James opened his eyes looking down at me
"Is that a yes?" He asked and I smiled leaning up pressing our lips together
"Yes" I replied as we pulled away
Pulling away didn't last long because as soon as that one word left my lips he crashed our lips together again
James was my person, I was stupid to think there would ever been anyone else.
It'll always be him, I'll always chose him
