XXXIV

A group of mermen guards with sharp spears on their hands were swimming their way towards them. "Oh oh," Gopal let out in fear, feeling an invisible sweat drip down from his forehead. Before they could arrive, Coral was still faster than them. "Hurry, follow me!" Coral called out before swimming through the hall with an immense speed. Everyone followed, quickly trying to catch up to the said dolphin. They've noticed how swift their swimming were compared to  their chasers.

As if their speed when they swim is almost as fast as Coral's. It was surely useful when you are under the charm of a magical delphini created by the Gem of Water itself. Y/n didn't regret that she approached the Glamouran creature to seek aid, he was surely a big help even if it almost costed her life. This small chaos gained attention from servants passing by which scared the them. Screams of horror were heard throughout the hall, the mermaid servants who were once minding their own businesses, suddenly made way for them in fear of getting theirselves dragged in.

"Sorry!"

"Oops, make way! Thank you!"

"We're so sorry!"

Mermaid servants watched the group pass by them with irritation obvious upon their faces. This caused for incoherent mumbles of complaints to erupt from the Agua Glamourans. Once they were able to pass them, the servants screamed once the mermen guards began passing by them in a hurry. Coral never tried to take a look back and focused on leading his companions to the path through the throne room. They might be able to gather attention and cause a fight to happen but they just had to risk it.

"Where are we going?" Yaya asked the delphini, moving her feet against the water to give her a faster pace. "My apologies, it seems like there were more creatures around than usual. I think you all need to prepare yourselves, this mission would not be completed without a fight," Coral answered without looking back to them. "What do you mean?" Fang blinked at this. Coral didn't answer, his eyes carefully scanning the area. Before anything could happen, Coral used his reflexes and swam up out of nowhere, surprising everyone.

"Guards up ahead!" He warned them before he launched himself to bump his head against the forehead of a merman guard who came out of nowhere. "Wait, huh!?" Gopal shrieked in confusion once his eyes landed upon the army of guards suddenly surrounding them out of nowhere. Coral who managed to knock out a guard with a headbutt, swam back to the gang to help them. "W-what now?" Gopal asked in fear, swimming closer to his friends. "Do you even have to ask that?" The elemental hero sassed out of nowhere, surprising Y/n at his change of attitude.

"Of course, we fight! Slow-Mo power!" Ying started, spreading her arms out as she began to glow a beautiful colour of blue. She managed to use her powers to slow their enemies before they could launch theirselves towards them. "Good one, Ying! Gravitational power!" Yaya praised her friend before her hands began glowing pink. Some guards felt theirselves being pulled by the ground out of nowhere, making them yelp and let go of their spears.

Mermen guards were approaching Gopal, pointing their spears towards his face with threatening looks on their visage. The boy didn't think twice, feeling his breathing getting heavier in nervousness even though he didn't really need oxygen. "Uh.. uhm... I─ Lollipop transformation!" Gopal quickly used his powers, not giving the mermen a single look since he was too scared to face the sharpness of the spears in front of his face. A green light appeared from his hands with him closing his eyes in fear.

Gopal felt nothing after that which made him reluctantly open his eyes to see if he was safe from any danger. He was face to face with bewildered looking guards who were now confused on what happened to their weapons. "Why you!" one of them growled before launching theirselves towards him. The molecular hero shielded himself in fear before screaming loudly. "AAA! WAIT, SORRY!" Gopal cried out in result, almost shivering from his place.
