"i seriously want to find out who leaves those flowers, newt." thomas smiled weakly. "i could ask the nurses? i mean, everyone has to sign in and out so obviously it'll be there. it wouldn't be teresa, or chuck. it could be your friends - i've not even met them. hell, do they even know you're gay and dating me?" he pondered. "who knows. i won't ask the nurses yet, i don't need to. someone else cares about you, and i'm glad."
as thomas walked out the corridor, he saw someone carrying a bouquet of lilies whilst talking to his friends.
