"𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒐𝒐, 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒚 𝒔𝒂𝒇𝒆."

I typed in my dad's number, hearing it ring 4 times before he answered.

"Will! How are you, son?" He asked immediately in his familiar cheery voice.

"I'm good, Dad. You?" I said tiredly.

"I'm alright. You sound a little down. What's the matter?"

I sighed, chuckling.

"I can't hide anything from you, can I?"

He laughed as well.

"Not in the slightest."

"Well," I mumbled, "work is a lot. You heard about Dream, didn't you?"

"Yeah."

"I dunno. Sapnap is freaking out about it, getting really pissed off 'n shit. And I'm in charge of the investigation, so all of it is falling on to my shoulders. It's just stressful."

Dad sighed. 

"Will, you need to remember to take a break, you know? You get so sucked into these things you forget to take care of yourself. Go for a walk, play Minecraft, visit with friends."

I smiled to myself. 

"Yeah, you're right."

"I'm always right." 

In the background of the call I heard someone shout 'Phil!' Dad sighed.

"I gotta go."

"Alright bye Dad, I love you."

"Love you too, stay safe."
