Bathed and changed into a light nightdress, Jannah hopped into her bed her phone clenched around her fingers as she waited for his call. And two minutes later, it lit up sending waves of excited shivers through her.

"What's my name on your phone?" Sheikh asked the moment she picked up.

"Umm..." She pulled the phone away from her ear briefly, and when she saw it she gave a short laugh, "You don't want to know."

"I will drive to your house right now if you don't tell me." He threatened, seriousness lurking beneath his playful tone.

Jannah's eyes widened, "No, you wouldn't dare do that. Alright, i will tell you, it's Prosecutor Four eyes Daggash. I told you, you don't want to know."

"What?!" Sheikh said brusquely, "I can't believe you saved your husband's name as that. Four eyes? What is even that name?"

Jannah held back a laugh, "Hey, you only became my husband today! And I'm afraid you're stuck with a girl who gives weird names to people on her phone so she wouldn't forget where she knows them when they call."

Sheikh couldn't help but laugh at that, "You're impossible. I do not approve of that name, we're going to make a little change to it, okay?"

"I might not remember where i know you from if i do and guess who's going to be all huffy?"

Sheikh groaned and she dissolved into peals of laughter, it was the sweetest sound his ears had heard in a long time, it mended his heart beautifully. "You have a beautiful laughter, i could listen to you laugh like this all day."

Jannah paused, heat suddenly warming her face, she tucked her lip between her teeth not knowing how to respond to the compliment.

He chuckled at her silence, "When i returned home earlier everyone was so delighted, you should have seen Muhsin's mother, she can't wait to meet you, it's been so long since i saw her or anyone in my family that happy. It was all too much to contain and I just couldn't help but realize how you have touched my life in so many beautiful ways. Alhamdulillah, I want you to know you are worth every pain and bad moment between meeting you that day and making you my wife today."

"I love you infinity." She breathed out from the deepest core of her heart, hoping and wishing it could match his soul-stirring, heart-liquefying words, he always knew the perfect words to say, always rendering her speechless.

Before he said anything, she spoke again, "You know, I wish Amatullah was here, she was always afraid i was going to end up with a man that had a flabby stomach, probably old enough to be my father because i was disturbingly too unserious about men to even know the type i want."

"I promise I'm not being smug, but i have abs and I'm just old enough to be your husband, just the perfect type for you. You chose well, I'm proud of you for her."

Jannah chuckled loudly, "I wish she had met my perfect muscly husband, even if it was just once."

"I wish the same too, Amatullah was a light, that I'm sure of. I wish I could thank her for being such an amazing sister to you. May Allah expatiate her sins and make her grave an abode of light just like she was."

Her lips tipped at his beautiful prayer and a thought came to her, "How is your brother? We've never spoken about him."

"He's good, Alhamdulillah." Sheikh gave a momentary pause, "He doesn't know we're married."

Jannah's brows furrowed, waiting for some explanation.

"He has been away for two weeks now, I can't reach him anytime i want." He said, and the dash of worry in his voice didn't go unnoticed.
