''Romeo, Romeo, Romeo,'' ani ko habang naka-dungaw sa bintanang gawa sa karton na may mga disenyo para mag-mukhang totoo.

Matapos niyang sabihin 'yon, aaminin kong kinilig ako. Iisipin ko na lang na ako talaga si Juliet at siya ang Romeo ng buhay ko.

''Oh, Romeo, why art thou called Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name, or if wilt not, be but sworn love and I'll no longer a Capulet.''

Mas lumapit naman siya sa akin. Pasimplee akong napalunok ng laway ng direktang magtama ang mga paningin namin.

''If they do see thee, they will murder thee. Dost thou love me?''

Ang gwapo naman ng Romeo ko. Halos matunaw naman ako sa kilig nang gumalaw ang adams apple niya bago magsalita, ''By my hearts true love.''

''Juliet!'' Tawag ng gumanap na Nurse. Boses ni Alliyah 'yon.

''Hmmm.... I hear noise within. Dear love, adieu.''

Nakakalungkot lang isipin na maging sa pagsasadula ay maraming hadlang sa ating dalawa, Mahal ko.

''Good night, good night. A sweet respose rest.'' Nakatingin pa rin siya ng direkta sa aking mga mata habang binibitiwan ang mga linyang 'yon.

''Three words, dear Romeo, and good night indeed.'' Animo'y nalulungkot din na sabi ko. Malungkot naman talaga kahit hindi tayo magsadula.

''Madam!'' Tawag na naman ng Nurse na ginaganapan ni Alliyah. Epal.

''A thousand times good night,'' sambit ko bago tuluyang umalis.

As I entered again to the room, I called him, ''Romeo!''

''My dear?'' tugon naman niya at agad ko siyang hinalikan.

Hindi malalim at hindi matagal. Saktong pagdampi lang ng aming mga labi. Halata sa mukha niyang nabigla siya sa ginawa ko na pilit niyang hindi pinapahalata.
