"Side note," she said as she dragged the towel around the floor, "I can't feel my feet or hands." I glanced over at her and rolled my eyes,

"And who's fault is that?" I stated as I walked over to the couch with our hot chocolates.

"Yours."

"What–"

"If you didn't have to be lonely, I wouldn't have to come here."

"But you're also lonely and don't want to be in your apartment alone." I told her as she put the now soaked towel back into the bathroom. Somi walked back out and sat down next to me on the couch. She reached forwards and took her hot chocolate mug in her hands, letting it slowly warm her up.

"Exactly, your fault." I just let it go because her reasoning was going to give me a headache. She sipped on the hot chocolate and turned her attention to the TV.

"Why don't we live together?"

"Because I had to be your roommate in college. I had to be yours for all 4 years since neither of us could afford apartments at the time. Worst time of my life," I heard her gasp in an offensive manner and I just rolled my eyes, "don't even start."

"Whatever." She said before we both fell silent as the commercial break was over and the movie was playing once again.

After about 2 hours, Somi wanted a snack and I told her to just go into the kitchen and look around for something. I kept my eyes glued to the screen and heard her footsteps get further away as she went to the kitchen. The sound of multiple cabinets opening and closing filled the air and I just waited for her to come back already. Her footsteps got closer and next thing I knew, she was standing in front of the TV, blocking my view.

I looked up at her and she had an unimpressed look on her face. My eyes trailed down to what she was holding and I felt my eyes widened in slight fear. They were the cookies from earlier. I had completely forgotten that I had put them in a cabinet and of course she just has to find them. She tapped her foot impatiently and waited for me to explain why the hell I had her cookies. I gave her a nervous smile,

"Somi! My bestest best friend! A person who I love so much! You–"

"Why do you have my damn cookies?" She asked, getting straight to the point. I sighed and explained myself,

"I just wanted them." I told her truthfully. She looked at me like she wanted to kill me. Somi squinted her eyes at me,

"I just want to strangle you right now." She stated, pointing at me. I gulped as she then forcefully put the cookies down on the coffee table. I watched as she then launched herself at me, getting on top of me and trying to strangle me. I fought back and was able to tickle her sides, making her weak. Her laughter filled my small apartment and I was able to get her off of me and to the other side of the couch. I straightened my leg out and held her down with it,

"Stay there!" I yelled at her, making sure she knew to stay there. She looked me dead in the eyes,

"We'll see."

"If you don't stay there, I'll text your ex from your phone!"

"You wouldn't!" I smirked at her and lifted up her phone that I now had in my hand. Her eyes grew and she was shocked at how I was able to get it out of her pocket without her feeling it.

"Watch me." She dramatically sighed,

"Fine, I'll stay here!"

"Good."

Rosé's POV

I was pacing back and forth in my hotel room, on the phone with my sister Alice. I was supposed to already be in the air and flying over the Pacific Ocean right now. But the weather has much different plans and I'm now stuck here in NYC for the unforeseeable future.
