RWBY: Vader

-The first mission-

As he looked around he couldn't see the dark lord anywhere, which would normally be a sign of comfort but for some reason, Crimson felt wrong.
As he walked through the abandoned tents he looked around paranoid.

*hiss*

The tent next to him burst into flames as a red super hot katana slashed through it revealing Vader whose eyes were fixed on crimson who attempted to slash at the enraged sith lord, Vader blocked the sword with a one-handed grip on the katana, he then sent Crimson to the floor as he pushed the traitor back, when Crimson hit the floor he dropped his weapon, as he went to grab it a red bladed katana stabbed into his hand.

Vader: tHEre iS No eScaPe

Vader said his voice glitching as Crimson's eyes filled with tears due to the burning wound in his hand, Vader then twisted the blade.

Crimson: aaarrrggghhhh!

He screamed in agony as the air filled with the smell of burnt flesh, Vader then pulled the katana out before bringing the blade up and slashing through the traitor's chest splitting the bandit leader's torso in two.

The sudden sounds of Manta-1s filled the air as three atlas ships landed just outside of the camp.

The 501st threw emp grenades cutting out the power of the landed aircraft and temporarily disabling their comms, they then moved in killing all the crew of the first manta-1 before meeting resistance in the second as Atlas soldiers flowed out of the cargo hold guns blazing, the 501st were now bogged down when the damaged Vader could be seen marching towards the third manta-1 he sliced through the door before lifting up the cut edge pointed at the soldiers inside he then force pushed the door through seven of the soldiers as their blood spurted all over the manta-1's interior, the last remaining soldier looked at his fallen brethren's remains he dropped his gun in terror as he looked at the approaching figure of Vader, whose yellow eyes burrowed into him, he fell to his knees in horror as Vader decapitated him.

Vader then picked up one of the grenades that lay on the floor before throwing it into the cockpit before exiting the ship and heading towards the second one, an explosion caused the remains of Vader's cape to tear off flying into the side of the second manta-1, one of the soldiers noticed it before turning to be met with a katana to the face which pinned him to the side of the ship his peers turned in terror, some of the others were shot by the 501st but the majority of the soldiers focused their fire on Vader who had grabbed the hilt of the katana, twisted it before dragging it through the side of the Manta-1 leaving an orange outlined slash across the side, he then brought the blade out of the side of the manta-1 slashing into the soldier closest to him, he then raised his hand blocking one of the atlas soldiers bullets before closing his fist pulling all of their guns out of their hands, he then marched towards his victims delivering heavy slashes that launched the victims across the battlefield their screams were cut short by the sound of their bodies hitting the floor.
All that followed was silence, the 501st deleted all of the recordings of themselves from the manta-1's systems before blowing up the other two manta-1s, they then loaded up the stolen crates onto the shuttle before they took off leaving the camp which was now a blazing inferno.

*two weeks later*

Qrow pov

News correspondent: a raging inferno has consumed the western region of the valeian forest, firefighters are struggling to stop the raging inferno...

I was sitting in the living room whilst two small toddlers lay on either side of me asleep, my wife Summer was baking cookies in the kitchen, Altair had the same hair colour as his father, I just hope I can live up to my brother's expectations.

Qrow: "I promise y/n, Altair will continue your dream of bringing peace to this world, I won't fail you y/n"

Suddenly my daughter shifted a little before raising her head rubbing her silver eyes before looking at me.

Ruby: Is papa okway?

She said whilst tilting her head to the side noticing a stray tear that ran down my cheek.

Qrow: papa's all good kiddo you go back to sleep okay?

I said as she nodded before getting comfortable and falling back asleep, I chuckled slightly.

Summer: enjoying yourself Qrow?

She asked as I nodded a small smile on my face, she noticed the tear and rubbed it off my face, we stared into each other's eyes before we shared a quick kiss before she went back into the kitchen to watch the cookies.

Qrow: "I hope your up there y/n in heaven, at the bar"

Through the window, a view of the forest can be seen as two glowing blue eyes stared at Altair who was in Qrow's arm, before a wolf let out a mighty howl.

Unknown pov

The sight of a city was out of my office window as I took a sip of hot cocoa. I looked at my scroll and saw the most recent headline.

News correspondent: "Third village destroyed amidst Grimm uprising, Is all hope lost now the hero is gone?"

Flashes of lava and lightsaber clashing against lightsaber, his enraged screams as he burnt on the bank, his twisted yellow eyes burning as hot as the erupting magma.

Y/n(flash): I HATE YOU!!!!!!

I heard a loud beep which brought me out of those haunting memories, I had a message from the council which I responded to before staring out of the window again.

???: What have you done Ozma?

A reflection in the window asked looking down at me in disgust. I took another sip of my drink.

Ozma: I did what had to be done.

I replied calmly has he let out a hollow laugh.

???: don't lie Ozma we both know your actions were out of petty jealousy.

He said before fading as I threw my cup into the wall smashing it to pieces, I let out a deep sigh before clenching my fist.
