Alaric began to push hair out of Josie's face. "Hey baby, wake up are you okay?" Josie began to stir back awake slowly. When she opened her eyes a few tears slipped out. "Can you tell us what the problem is?" Crystal asked Josie. Josie was about to speak up when her eyes moved from Crystal to the door that was now open. With a slight but small gasp she called a name out. "Y/N."

Everyone turned to the door which there stood Y/N. Y/N walked to Josie in concern. "Is she okay?" Y/N asked not to anyone specific. "She's fine she just passed out from the spell." Y/N nodded while taking Josie from Tyler so now Y/N was the one helping her stand. "Come on Josie I'll take you to your room to lie down." Everyone watched as Y/N helped Josie walk out of the room. No I'm dared to say anything, the pack knew that Y/N and Josie had a different type of bond, even after their break up.

When Lauren watched Y/N walk up to Josie she couldn't help but feel a strong amount of jealousy. She liked Y/N and she also knew that Y/N liked her but that didn't stop her feelings at all, if anything they grew stronger because of it.

"You guys can go to your old rooms. They're still the same no on has touched them." Alaric told the pack. Lauren stood awkwardly when Camila grabbed her hand. "Come on you can stay with me until Y/N gets back." Lauren nodded her head gratefully and walked with Camila and Shawn to their room. "Cam I'm gonna go say hi to the boys I haven't seen them in a while, if that's okay?" Shawn asked his girlfriend. "Of course babe, be careful." With a smile he nodded and kissed her cheek before leaving the room.

"So you guys used to live here?" Lauren asked Camila who was brushing her hair. "Yup, this is actually where we met Y/N. We've all known each other since we were kids." Lauren nodded her head with a smile imagining the pack as small kids running around the school.

"So... uh Y/N and Josie?" Lauren asked Camila hoping to get some insight from her. Camila smiled and chuckled knowing the two would most likely get brought up by Lauren. "Yup." "So what happened between them?" Lauren asked very curious. Camila smiled thinking about the past couple. "Well I would say they were very serious, they dated for about five years." Lauren shocked about this, couldn't help but to let her mouth drop. Camila laughed loudly. "I know. They were young but to them it was just as real as any relationship. Josie was there for Y/N when her parents died, Josie helped turn Y/N's humanity back on."Lauren nodded giving an indication for Camila to keep going. "Well eventually Y/N became a true Alpha even when she had taken lives. It meant she was an even more rare type of wolf. She didn't need a pack but we needed an Alpha. She stepped up after her father died. As years passed she got more responsibility and more terrain. We left the school and moved into our own house, the distance put a strain on Y/N and Josie's relationship so eventually they broke up. It was on good terms and they're still good with each other, but they both understand each other on a different level than everyone else."

Y/N helped sit Josie down on her bed slowly not wanting to make the girl feel worse than she is already. "How have you been?" Josie asked the alpha examining her every feature. "Real question is how have you been Jo?" Josie smiled at the usual quirky Y/N. "I've missed you." Josie grabbed Y/N's hand squeezing it. Y/N and Josie stayed there for a little. "I've missed you as well Jo. You guys should visit more often." Y/N joked lightheartedly. "Yeah like my dad would let us." Y/N chuckled knowing she was right.

"How is everyone?" Y/N asked. Josie smiled thinking about everyone. "They're all fine, they're doing great." Y/N nodded. "That's excellent." "So who's this Lauren girl you've brought." Josie asked her smile faltering slightly. Y/N smiled thinking about Lauren. "You would really like her Jo. She's human but she is amazing." Josie was happy if Y/N was happy, her feelings didn't matter. "That's good, I'm happy for you." Y/N appreciated Josie so much. "Thank you Josie, you know how much I care what you think." Josie stared into Y/N's eyes seeing the way she talked about Lauren. Y/N used to talk about Josie like that it pained the younger witch. "What about you? No one special?" Y/N asked Josie a smirk evident on the alphas face.

"Of course not." Josie laughed out loud with Y/N. "You will find someone Josie." Y/N got sincere. When Y/N is with Josie it's easy to let her feelings show. She knows that Josie would never judge her. "Hopefully not." Josie spoke up silently. "Why not?" Y/N asked Josie, feeling like she knew the answer already. "You know why Y/N." Y/N shook her head. "Josi-" Josie cut her off. "I know Y/N, I know." With a nod Y/N stood up and kissed Josie on the cheek before going to the door. "Y/N." Josie called out before Y/N opened the door. "Why her and not me?" Y/N only shook her head and left leaving Josie to wallow in her thoughts.
