My name is Shyanne Clarissa -Denise Martin. My mother and I have been living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana since I was three years old
. After a rough divorce from my father, my mom hasn't bounced back. She's always crying and angry and now it's seems like I'm a disturbance in her life. My parents got divorced because of financial issues. My mom was caught taking my dad's money and hiding it away from him due to his drug addiction. When he found out about it, it was over for her.
He shipped us off to a middle class house out here and left us only 8,000 dollars to make a living. No trace of him. No cards on birthdays or holidays and etc. Now that I'm 17 years old living out here in the city is starting to affect me and my education. Will I make it out? Or will i become another statistic? That answer is up to me. Anything i go through is just another Life Lesson to add to the list.
