There is a short list of things that can make Katsuki Bakugo, the amazing Pro Hero Dynamight who will one day overtake Deku in the Hero Charts, panic.

All of them, your friends know, were all boiling down to you.

That is why it didn't come as a surprise for them to see his composure crumble when you called him up and announced that your water broke. He finished his patrol early after telling you to tell everyone in the agency that it was time, his heart paced and his eyes wide as he blasted all across the city to be able to get to you.

Every single citizen who were there that day wondered if there was a problem nearby, only to be calmed down by the news later this evening about the birth of Dynamight and Mermaid's child.

This Pro Hero kicked all the doors open in the agency just so he can make it in time to get you in his car and take you to the nearest hospital. He swore to Deku that he will pay for all the repairs of all the things he broke in his state of panic but that will come much later.

The top priority is getting you to the hospital.

"I'll get the bag!" Mina volunteered as she took your extra apartment key from your drawer and disappeared to do her task.

Bakugo carried you to the car, his hands sweating and his mind going on overdrive. He hated seeing you in pain and would wince whenever you reacted to the contractions.

"Breathe. In. Out. Suki! Breathe!" You yelled at him, seeing the fear in his eyes as he put you in the backseat of his car. "Ei! Need your help!" You called out to Red Riot who immediately got in the driver's seat. "Breathe, Katsuki, breathe!"

Bakugo tried to calm down but the poor man has never seen an emergency like this before where two of his favorite people were involved. You and your baby. So of course he was panicking.

You took his hand and smiled, bearing the pain. "We'll be fine, Dynamight. We'll be just fine." You assured your husband and after a few more repetition of these words, he relaxed. He took your hand in his before yelling at Kirishima about not using the quickest way to the damn hospital.

The wave of panic came back when you were on the process of giving birth, with your legs propped up and the doctors and nurses help give birth, awaiting baby Dynamight. He took your hand again, giving you all the support that he can manage to provide you.

It was honestly such a miracle that you stayed in the agency that day. Bakugo wouldn't know what he would do if you were alone at home when this happened.

"You're doing well, baby." Bakugo's words washed over your system, as though aiding you in the grueling process. He was trying to hide his nervousness beneath his eyes, masking it with the strength he knew you need as you pushed and pushed.

With a sigh of relief, you both relaxed you heard the loud cry of your baby. Your husband kissed you all over your face, whispering to you how great you have done. The nurse cleaned your baby boy up, and brought him to rest on your chest. The little boy had the tuft of blond hair, the same shade as his father's, and when his eyes started flutterin open, you found your eyes staring right back at you.

Bakugo cautiously came closer to you and to your newborn, as though he was careful not to frighten the baby. He actually didn't have time to change so he still had his hero costume on - although he did leave his gauntlets in the agency. Many of the little children that he would save actually is a bit scared of him so he had to be careful about your own baby.

"You can hold him, Suki." It really touched you how the rash and loud Katsuki would be approaching your child as though he wasn't sure about what to do. You know that Bakugo will do his best to hold the baby because you two have been waiting months for him.

This made your husband's eye widen in slight panic once again. He tried to dust himself clean, careful about whatever dirt he's getting on his son. The nurse carefully handed over the small baby in your husband's arms. Bakugo awkwardly held the baby, asking the nurse if he was doing it right and if he wasn't hurting such a fragile little thing.

Katsuki peered at your little bundle of joy resting in his arms and he could feel such a surge of emotion welling up in his eyes. Your baby is so fragile in his grasp and Bakugo was rendered speechless by how soft he is and how perfect his son is.

This man has the highest of standards and his son just went above and beyond that.

You smile fondly at your husband, seeing that panic in his eyes be replaced by the overwhelming love he is feeling at that moment.

Bakugo tearfully met your eyes, "He's beautiful." Then he leaned down to kiss you, "I love you."

He then turned to his son and uttered the very first thing that this baby will hear from his father, "I love you, Hikaru."

And he will repeat this every single day of Hikaru's life.
