You clicked your heels, activating the new boots that the support course made for you. This pair allowed you to turn on the ready-made board on the soles of your feet, allowing you to surf the waves as soon as you make them.

"I'll be back!" You yell over to your team mates.

"Be careful!" Deku reminded you and he moved swiftly away from your team. You nod, remembering Shinso's quirk. You suggested to your team that you can flood the area but Deku refused since it will drain you too much too soon. You were one of their offenses, they can't lose you.

Deku decided that you cover as much ground as possible, maybe taking that guy from Class B who can freeze moving objects. He said that this person will cause you too much problems since he is a clear opponent for you.

The water burst carried you around the arena and then spotting the young hero you were targetting just by his team mates. You created another long stream and targetted them which he stopped almost immediately. You frowned, giving them more than they can handle.

He ran off, baiting you. They knew you were proud of your quirk and as much as Bakugo influenced you, your pride in yourself usually came in the way. You made your way towards him, facing him off in a one on one fight.

Jumping off from your wave, you smirked at him. "Think you can run from me?" Then you pelted him with those strong streams of water that you know would cost you later.

He jumped back, extending his arms so he's ready for your incoming attacks, "I can keep up with you but don't think we forgot how exhaustion affects you." He taunted you further, freezing everything you created.

You pressed your palms together, "Well, we're just going to have to make this quick then, huh?" When you pulled your hands apart, you were able to create balls of water. It was a new move, inspired by Bakugo's explosion. Your opponent stepped back as you yelled, "Cannonball!"

You knew about this student and according to Deku, there is a limit to what he can freeze. You just have to push him to that limit. You targetted him with as much cannonballs as you can and then you heard one of your waves crack.

An opening.

You created a bigger wave, pressed the neckpiece you were wearing and flooded the area as soon as his quirk weakened. Armed with your diving mask, you disarm your fainted opponent and tied him up.

Once you were able to meet up with your team, they have already been able to tie up the other Class B as well.

Your classmates cheered when they met up with you. The others were worried about Deku and you wanted to ask why but an alone Bakugo caught your eye. You went towards him and you grinned, "See that? We won too!"

"Tch, not as fast as we did." He leaned on the railing with a grin. You pouted and he merely gave you a smirk before lifting himself up from his position and nodding, "Not bad."

"Of course. I couldn't lose to anyone." You said with full determination. Dating Bakugo made you aim for the top. He wasn't about to date some loser hero so you started wanting the same goals. It was important that you can be the best version of yourself for him and even though Bakugo didn't tell you to do so, you strived harder.

You were already quite a force to be reckoned with, Bakugo mused as he watched your eyes burn with that strength you had in you, but it would be amazing to see you grow even more. He can't wait to face off with you, he can't wait to see how far you've come from that student he once knew.

"Only to me, huh Bubbles?" He teased, knowing this would irritate you to the point wherein you'd actually take the bait, just like the way you did with that hero from your match.

You growled at him, "Won't lose to anyone, not even you."

Bakugo laid a hand on your head, admiring your spirit. This is one of the many reasons that he got hooked by you, you were someone who would never back down to anyone. You've always been so stubborn, constantly arguing with him and dealing with his shit every single day. You competed for grades, improving yourselves in the process, and for the further growth of your quirks. You would never let anyone get the better of you. Not the Class B. Not even him.

For some reason, he felt that sense of pride, "That's my girl."
