Wiping the soot off his face, Pro Hero Dynamight entered the conference room in UA High. Through text, Deku informed him about the meeting that Principal Nezu asked for. Your principal invited a special group of possible alumni who would be best to mentor the incoming second year students.

"Ah, it is so good to have you join us, Dynamight." Principal Nezu acknowledged him, making the Pro Heroes glance at his entrance. "I hope you were able to fix whatever it is that stopped you on your way here."

"Damn right." He said gruffly as he made his way towards the seat beside Deku. That was when he noticed the amused glimmer in your eyes. You didn't tell him about the invite, mostly because you wanted to surprise him of your presence. You worked in two different agencies, he built his own with Deku and you stayed with Ryukyu, your mentor.

Bakugo smirked, taking the folder in front of him.

"As I was saying, I believe you would find our students and their quirks promising." Nezu glanced around the U-shaped table, seeing the familiar faces of his former students. "In your file, you can see their profiles. They have improved since the Sports Festival so I hope that you would find time to mentor our young ones." He urged everyone to open the folders.

"Oh! An electric quirk!" Kaminari's excitable tone filled the conference room.

Bakugo lazily flipped through the files, definitely more interested in you than these students. He glanced at you and found you looking at him. Bakugo raised an eyebrow, wordlessly inquiring why you didn't tell him. You just chuckled softly before looking at the student profiles.

"This one looks like he can be a good fit for you, Kacchan." Deku showed him the file of the student who he vaguely remembers is the winner of the Sports Festival. The student was able to produce bombs using his energy and used a very similar fighting style to his old self.

But Bakugo wasn't interested. His eyes always found their way towards you. You almost always would return his glances because how can you not feel your boyfriend's eyes on you? He sent you a smile before turning his eyes towards Deku who went into a full speech about how it would be amazing if Bakugo would take on the kid under his wing.

"Yeah yeah, let's contact him." Bakugo dismissed the other hero.

He wanted to look at you again but this time, he found himself face to face with the Principal. Of course Nezu knew, Bakugo used to do it when you were back in school. Old habits die hard.

Bakugo pursed his lips to prevent himself from laughing. He felt like a teenager, getting caught staring at his crush by the teacher.

"Sorry Principal," He chuckled, "Mermaid is too distracting."
