chapter 14 Lilypaw

Lilypaw woke up in the middle of the night and found Ryepool's nest empty

She spotted there deputy Halfpath

"Where is Ryepool" Lilypaw asked

"She is out on a walk I remember her telling why it's because she has Nightmares and I thought they were gone but as you can tell there back" Halfpath said

"Do you know what they are about" Lilypaw asked

"Yes I do and they were they about cats who were in her care dieing" Halfpath answered

"Oh that's sad" Lilypaw replied

"I know but you should go get some more sleep" Halfpath said

"Okay" Lilypaw replied and walked back to her den

She often wondered what the future well hold

And she lyed down in her nest and went back to sleep

When she woke up she saw Ryepool sorting herbs

Ryepool turned her head to face Lilypaw

"Good morning" Ryepool said

Ryepool's golden pelt shimmered from the sunlight that came into the den

She got up and out of her nest

"What should I do" Lilypaw asked

"You should go get some fresh cobwebs are supply is low" Ryepool answered

And Lilypaw left the den to go find some cobwebs

She walked over to the broken tree that was always filled with cobwebs

And she started to gather them

Stormclan rarely let rogues into there clan so why did they let Shadowpaw in Lilypaw wondered

And once she was done collecting the cobwebs she returned to camp

"Wow that's a lot" Ryepool said

"I know I gathered as much as I could carry" Lilypaw replied

But well Shadowpaw do bad things in Stormclan Lilypaw wondered

And she put the cobwebs away

"Now what" Lilypaw asked

"I didn't think that far" Ryepool answered

"Well we could go out collecting herbs that we are low on" Lilypaw suggested

"Good idea we are low on a lot of things now that Leaf-bare is over" Ryepool said

And they left the den together

And Once they left camp

"Do you ever think about trying to have a mate and kits" Ryepool asked

"No because it's against the medicine cat code" Lilypaw answered

"I wanted to have a mate once even tho I'm a medicine cat but the tom I wanted rejected me" Ryepool said

"Who?" Lilypaw asked

"Webstar we were both really sad after Swiftspot died and we helped each other through our grief" Ryepool answered

"And the reason I'm scared that he well do something bad to me is because I think he is still mad at me for wanting to break the medicine cat code" Ryepool said

"Oh fishtails.. I told secrets again" Ryepool said

"It's okay I won't tell anyone else" Lilypaw replied

"But what herbs do we need" Lilypaw asked

"We need feaverfew lavender and Horsetail catmint and tansy goldenrod" Ryepool answered

"How about we each collected three of them I'll collect the horsetail lavender and the tansy" Lilypaw said

And she walked away from Ryepool to go collect her side of the herbs
