Chapter 5

"Mother!!!"

"Eh? PJ, Rosa, what are you two doing here? Usually, you both are hanging with your other siblings during this festival."

"Sorry, Mum, but we both wanted to ask for a new sibling!!!! This time from Papa Purple!!!!"

"Yeah, sure it would be nice to have a full-blooded sibling but Papa Purple really wants another child unlike our father's."

"Which is really unfair~!!!!"

"*chuckle* Is that so? Well, what a coincidence as in a few months Nightmare will be a Father again~."

"YES!!!!!!/BOO-YAH!!!!!"

"*laughs* Why don't we go tell the news, my little starlights?"

"Yes, Mama!!!!"

Error jolted as he found himself in a black void with little white dots around him. Alarm plagued his mind as he didn't see the Crystal Gems, humans, hybrid, or the pink lion at this place. He was all alone with no clue as to how to get back or where he even was.

"Well, I call this the 'Meeting Limbo Mindscape.' Or MLM for short."

Error jolted as he looked behind him to freeze as he someone that looked just like him but with diamond patterns and markings over them along with diamond pupils unlike him. Error then looked over himself to see he was back to normal with no diamond in his sternum and his more hobo style than anything. The souling connection was still there which made Error calm but cautious of the other. The other Error, Or Tri, smiled at the other while idly summoning some chairs for them to sit in.

Error took the option to sit as he faced the supposed dead diamond sitting across from him. Tri gave a sad smile at the other while looking at Error.

"I'm sorry for all of this."

That made Error blink as he looked at the diamond with confusion and uncertainty. Error didn't exactly blame the other all that much due to the fact that the other was a certain state between dead and alive. It was like the Chara's with Error being the Frisk that woke them from their state. But unlike Frisk, Error didn't dare think of Genocide or his own curiosity as he wanted to go home to his own family and little terrors.

"It isn't exactly a situation we could choose on. I just happened to have the same wave lengthened that matched you and thus give you a chance to be alive again."

Tri looked tired from the sentence spoken of which made Error wonder how long it's truly been for the other. How long was the other in slumber, waiting for the day to see their family again?

"You're right on that and I did want to see my husbands, friends, and children again."

Error could see the clear despair the other had which made him feel empathetic towards the other but wariness still prevailed due to the nature of all of this. Souls are a fragile existence due to them being the very BEING of anyone and anything that held some full sentience in everyone's views. Plants can be classified as sentient but not fully due to not having any souls. But that doesn't stop plants from being joyful and sprouting where they want to survive.

"I was pregnant before I dusted, ya know?"

That made him have a hitched breath at the answer. It made the situation all the more alarming and sad. Pregnancy for monsters of any kind made them EXTREMELY vulnerable. It was a period of time for new life to come but lead the Carriers or Mothers to be as vulnerable as a result. And Tri was talking in past tense which could translate terribly to Error due to him carrying a souling during all of this. He couldn't begin to describe the awful feeling in his soul as his magic gathered around the souling in him protectively. Tri then waved his hands as he clarified.
