"AHHHHHH" a woman screamed, clutching the soft silky covers that were draped over her large belly.

The woman groaned and cried as the doctor encouraged her to push. And with a final scream she pushed, and instantly the room was filled with baby crying.

The doctor shared a concerned look with both nurses as he raised the baby high in the air by its legs.

Oh, no. We're starting here? Okay.

The baby (a few months old now) was put in a stroller, revealing his head full of hair. The baby was born with Half-black and half-white hair. He was named Elijah.

From the very beginning I've always made a statement.

Catherine Miller, the baby's mother, pushed the stroller outside, smiling down at her baby lovingly.

A passing old lady smiled and went to coo at the baby but gasped when she looked at the baby's unique hair.

Not everyone appreciated that.

"That's unfortunate." The woman sympathised, looking at Catherine as if the baby was some kind of alien, then walked away hurriedly.

But I wasn't for everyone.

Catherine scowled at the woman's retreating figure, then smiled at her baby, adoringly cooing at him.

Speaking of statements, here's one.

As she bent down to fix little Elijah's blanket, her necklace with a red pendant on it, dangled in front of the little baby who curiously held his chubby hand up to grab it.
