THE OPPOSITES (DRACO X Y/N)

Back to 6th year

With all your O.W.Ls over, and the battle at the ministry over (where you unfortunately lost Sirius) it is time to leave for the summer, Y/n and Draco are playing Gobstones.

Draco gets sprayed all over with the sticky liquid.

Draco: "Ughhhhh!"

Y/n giggles as she fetches a napkin and wipes it off his face.

Draco: "Here goes an entire year."

Y/n: "I'm going to miss the magical world."

Draco: "Yeah. With your psychotic uncle and aunt for the summer- seems terrible."

Y/n: "Never mind. Me and Harry have quite some tricks up our sleeves."

You both laugh, as you get on the Hogwarts train to head back home.

TIME CUT TO 16th BIRTHDAY - MIDNIGHT

Harry: "Wake up, wake up Y/n!"

Y/n: "What????"

Harry: "Happy sweet sixteenth!"

Y/n: "Happy Birthday, 'Arry!"

Celestine and Hedwig flutter in, loaded with packages.

Y/n: "Come here, Celestine!"

Celestine drops gifts and birthday letters. Hermione has sent you two books and several chocolates, The Weasley twins have sent you a WWW (Weasleys Wizarding wheezes) gift bag, Ron has sent candy (classic Ron), and Draco sends her a picture album.

The album has pictures of Y/n and Draco, at the yule ball and other moments. Magical pictures that move.

Harry: "What's so cool? It's just an entire book of you two dumbasses snogging."

Y/n smacks Harry with the album.

Harry: "Just- kidding. Sorry."

TIME CUT TO DINNER WITH THE DURSLEYS

Y/n: "I'm not hungry for meatloaf."

Petunia: "Well, it is leftover night. We have steak, Pasta, what are ya hungry for?"

Harry: "DrRacCcoOo MaAlLFfOoyyyyy!"

Petunia and Vernon dursley look aghast, but Dudley stifles a laugh.

Y/n: "Shut up!"

Harry: "Y/NNNN MaAlLLFFFoooYY!"

Y/n: "I said shut up, you insect!"

Harry: "Somebody come and get herrr, she's fvcking up my dinerrr!"

Y/n: (knocks Harry with a ladle): "Somebody come and get himmm, before I fvcking end him!"

Petunia: "BED! NOW!"

TIME CUT TO HOGWARTS EXPRESS

Hermione: "Harry is under the impression that Draco Malfoy is now a Death eater."

Harry: "He is Lucius Malfoy's son! It only makes sense. Besides you said you saw-"

Hermione: "I told you I don't know what I saw!"

Y/n: "Draco.. it doesn't make sense."

Harry: "I need some air."

And then->

Harry sneaks up on Draco.

Draco: "What was that? Blaise? Don't know."

Pansy: "Relax boys. It's probably just a first-year messing around. Come on. Sit down Draco. We will be at Hogwarts soon."

Draco: "Hogwarts. What a pathetic excuse for a school. I'd pitch myself of the astronomy tower if I had to continue another two years."

Pansy: "What's that supposed to mean?"

Draco: "Let's just say, I won't be wasting my time in charms next year... amused, blaise? We'll see just who's laughing in the end."

Pansy and Blaise get off, Draco stops.

Hermione, Ron and Y/n get off, thinking Harry already has

(but then, Harry's nose is stamped on, and he's left in the train by Draco.)

TIME CUT TO DINNER
Hermione: "Will you stop eating! Your best friend is missing."

Ron: "Turn around you lunatic."

Ginny: "He's covered in blood. Why's he always covered in blood?"

Harry smiles and sits down.

Y/n: "Harry. Please. Tell me."

a silence.

Y/n: "Please don't tell me it was-"

Harry: "It was Malfoy."

A tear rolls down Y/n's cheek. "I can't believe this!" Y/n muttered, staring bitterly at Draco.

"Meet me in the astronomy tower after Dinner" Draco passes a note.

TIME CUT TO ASTRONOMY TOWER.

Y/n sees Draco staring out into the sky.

Draco: "You're here."

Y/n: "Yes."

Draco: "I- want to break up."

Y/n: "You're joking -right?" Y/n chuckles.

But the serious look on Draco's face puts Y/n in a state of shock.

Draco: "No. It's over."

A tear rolls down Y/n's cheek.

Y/n: "At least tell me why."

Draco: "You're not my sort."

Y/n breathes heavily.

Y/n: "And. What you did to my brother."

Draco: "He deserved it. Earned it."

Y/n: "Then it is time for goodbyes. Goodbye, Draco."

Draco: "Goodbye, Potter."

Y/n turns around and runs. Runs like she never has. But she has a total breakdown when she gets to the fourth floor. She buries her face in her knees, and cries, shaking.

?: "God, Y/n, I saw what that pathetic cvnt Malfoy did. You deserve better."
