Chapter 12 : Meeting the Midoriyas

Date: 24th December, 2325

Location: Off UA Campus

Time: 3PM

"Come on now.... Don't be mad senpai. We don't want you to break bones, do we?", Fuwa says as she sees Mirio literally fuming in front of her. They were away from the UA campus and were currently waiting for Nejire, Tamaki, Mei, Hitoshi, Bibimi and Melissa at a café, which was not very far from the place where Izuku used to live. It was snowing and heeding to Izuku's advice, Mirio had kept One For All active every waking second. The warmth of the quirk was getting more and more familiar to Mirio and the blonde phaser always felt that the quirk was encouraging him.

Gold sparks fly off Mirio's fingers as clenched them and he asks, "How... How do you expect me to not be mad when all of them are celebrating Christmas without a care in the world!? How can they forget about what happened? They know that I was close to Midoriya-kun and yet they have the audacity to ask whether I would like to join in on their party" Fuwa grimaces at this. She knew exactly what he was talking about and to be honest, she didn't want to talk about this today. She already has a hard time everyday controlling herself from choking them with her clouds and she was not having any of that today.

"I get it. They are idiots. But they are not worthy enough to break your bones over. Also I can see the sparks coming off your body. Did you just cross the 5% threshold now? As far as I know, these sparks of OFA only become visible when you cross that threshold", Fuwa says while creating a cloud and stuffing it over Mirio's head. This causes him to calm down a bit and he sheepishly says, "Sorry for the outburst. I tend to get a bit verbal these days".

"Don't mention it. I understand where you are coming from. But look at the brighter side. We can talk to Melissa about Midoriya-kun once when she comes. We will get to meet Eri-chan and give her her brother's costume", Fuwa exclaims to which Mirio simply sighs and says, "I just hope that Mei and Bibimi don't get caught while they try to smuggle Midoriya-kun's gear".

"Don't worry about them. As much as I know... they can manage it. Support class students are crazy in their own rights. I bet they will do some crazy shit as a distraction", Fuwa says with a smile. Mirio couldn't help but smile at her beautiful face. The girl has been a lot of help recently. From breaking into Midoriya-kun's dorm to helping him train OFA, she has helped a lot. Sure... Nejire and Tamaki helped him too, because even they knew about OFA, but Mawata Fuwa... she is special. He couldn't help but be nervous around her. Her beautiful pink hair was something that mesmerized him and she was smart and perceptive. It was because of her advice, Mirio decided to pull Nejire and Tamaki into this OFA loop.

"Speaking of OFA... did you see what Midoriya-kun mentioned in his book?" Fuwa asks as she decides to change the topic. Mirio frowns at this and says, "Vestiges? No. Midoriya-kun mentioned that he was at 20% when he experienced it and I can only manage 12% without any stress. This advice of his of keeping OFA activated at all times is helping me immensely. From what I can deduce, by the time I graduate I will be at 35%". Mirio did speak to All Might about it, albeit reluctantly and the said hero himself had no idea what to make out of it. Apparently Midoriya-kun was the first person to experience this phenomenon. All Might did say that he felt them but to see them was an entirely new concept to him. And to top it off, he had to learn six more quirks. Mirio had to say this. He was very much impressed by the amount of research Izuku was able to do in the short period of time. Currently in the book of OFA, the green haired former student was able to mention almost everyone's quirk except for second and third users and Mirio was very sure that, if Izuku had more time, he would have figured that out too.

"You know... if you ask my opinion... this vestige thing, I find it scary. Imagine the souls of your predecessors watching you as you do your daily job. Imagine those judgmental stares, those sighs they do when you do something stupid..." Fuwa says with a shiver, which causes Mirio to let out a laugh. This makes Fuwa smile a bit and with a teasing tone she says, "Hey senpai"
