"You're still thinking about it."

Harry glances up. Draco joins him on the sofa, pressing a cup of tea into his hands.

He sighs heavily. "I just feel bad. I keep wondering if there's a way I could have, I don't know, made it easier, or if I should never have even let him into my life. He's texted a couple times this month. Drunk texts."

Draco tilts his head to one side. "You didn't mean to hurt him. You would never hurt anyone."

"Not intentionally," Harry shrugs. "But I should have been more careful. I should have..."

"Stop." Draco takes the tea away and sets it on the side table before climbing into his lap. "You can't beat yourself up forever. You need to let this go."

"I don't like hurting people," Harry sighs against Draco's mouth.

"I know, darling, but there's nothing you can do. It's time to forgive yourself and move on."

Draco pulls back to look into his eyes. He rubs a thumb over Harry's cheek.

Harry bites his lower lip and nods. "Okay."
