Jungkook remembered that day like it happened yesterday.
The secret Santa project was organised by the Biological science department of SNU. 300 students who have majored or minored in Zoology or Botany have taken part in this childish project, according to Jungkook's opinion. Their professor Mrs Lee who is too immature for her age, (again according to Jungkook) told them to pick a name from the large candy jar which was placed on her table with an eager smile.
Jungkook remembers his gloomy and unbothered expression when he picked a name when his turn arrived. he remembered how his heart skipped a beat or two when he saw the name written on the light blue paper.

"Listen, children!" Mrs Lee's bubbly voice followed by the snorts of his classmates (because of the way their professor addressed them) has brought Jungkook to the present world.
"You need to give a very small present to the person whose name is written on the paper that you're holding. You must place it wherever they can find it before Christmas. Until then you can't reveal your identity to them. Understood?"
"Crystal clearly" The students replied in unison.
Jungkook let a frustrated sigh and looked around to find the familiar feline eyes among the crowd and met with the same pair of warm orbs which were already staring at his own from a few meters away.
Yoongi quickly averted his eyes from the younger's burning gaze, cheeks reddening into a deep shade of red as he was caught in a red hand for shamelessly staring at the younger.
"God! he must've thought I'm a weird creepy guy... What a great 1st impression you left there Min Yoongi" Yoongi was busy scolding himself in whisperers, therefore he missed the way how younger's lips lifted into a soft smile while looking at Yoongi's panicked form.
Yoongi found a neatly and elegantly wrapped bouquet of yellow roses on his dorm's study table. He was enchanted by the beauty of the flowers and he spent good ten minutes admiring the elegance and unique fragrance of the flowers. When he was about to set the bouquet aside to get a vase, a piece of paper fell down from the bouquet. Yoongi picked it up and unfold it to read it.
"Hope our friendship will bloom day by day like these yellow roses! Merry Christmas Yoongi-hyung!
Your Secret Santa - JJK"
Yoongi felt his heart burst with millions of fireworks. Jeon Jungkook has sent him flowers and he wants to befriend Yoongi. Even Yoongi feels much more than a friendship towards the younger, this is more than enough for him to start with.
After a long time, Yoongi closed his eyes to sleep with a hopeful smile on his face.

"Damn it! I'm late again.."
Jungkook cursed as he stepped down from his car in the parking lot. He hurriedly tug up the bag strap which has fallen from his shoulder and ran towards his locker. He messily opened the locker and rummaged through it to find his books and that's how he found a small green gift box tied with a white ribbon and a white rose on the top.

Jungkook abandoned his books and take the box into his hands and examine it carefully. This must be the gift from his secret Santa. He let out a snort remembering the childish bonding game but he was a curious man. There wasn't any external note so he gently opened the box to see what was inside.
It wasn't like he has seen better and more expensive jewellery than before, It's the hella opposite actually because he has more than ten necklaces that are designed just for himself by world-well-known designers.
But what he was welcomed after opening the small box immediately stole his heart. It must've cost only 8-10 dollars, but it represents the warmth of the person who gifted it to him; Even if it's Snowflake.

when he read the words on the light green paper that he finally found, he couldn't help but think, This is Destiny
