Aries' POV
"So what do you think?" I asked Taurus while he's examining the remains of the explosive in the laboratory.
"Sheez dude, relax. Wala pa tayong limang minuto na nandito. I'm barely getting the hang of it." natatawa nyang sabi.
"Tss." malay ko bang kelangan nya ng ilang minuto/oras para don, he's the bomb expert anyway.
"Magbasa ka muna dyan ng magazine o kung ano man para mahimasmasan."
"There's no magazine in here, Taurus." paalala ko sa kanya.
"Then just use the teleportation device to summon one. Geez Aries, di naman napaghahalataang pressured ka."
"Pressured? Who?" kunot noo kong sabi at sumandal na lang saking upuan.
"Yeah right, who?" he mocked. "Ganyan na ba epekto ng kaliwa't kanang death threats sayo?"
"I eat death threats for breakfast."
"And they're all coming for you now, kinakarma ka na tuloy. Hahahahaha!" I raised my brow.
"Nakakatawa yon?" unti unti namang napawi ang ngiti nya at sumimangot.
"Eto naman binibiro lang eh!"
"Just focus on your job and hurry up." he mumbled something pero di ko yon narinig. "Ano yon?!"
"Wala! Ang sabi ko naeenjoy ko talagang pagsilbihan ka aming kapitan."
Hindi na ako nagsalita para na rin maipagpatuloy nya ang kanyang ginagawa.
I remember how I first met Taurus. I was one of the first batch of aspirants that got in COSMOS. Dahil nga sa nangyari sa pamilya ko, I was aloof. I barely speak to anyone unless needed. Lalabas lang ako ng kwarto kapag pinapatawag ako ni Sun.
Pero sa isang organisasyon, hindi talaga mawawalan ng mga mayayabang na kasamahan kaya minsan akong napaaway. I nearly killed that person, pero may pumagitna sa amin at umawat na mukhang gangster at di mapagkakatiwalaan. He definitely looks like the stereotype gangster that has a piercing on lower lip and both ears, and has a dyed silver and black undercut hair. Masusuntok ko pa nga sya pero tumawa sya na parang baliw sa kanto that's enough to weird out the group that I'm having a feud with. I was left with him and that's the time he introduced himself as Trent, which is now, Taurus.
I didn't expect that he'll be the closest person to me, given that we're literally opposites. Maybe the only thing that we have in common is that we're both daredevils seeking for justice in this world, and I guess that ain't bad at all.
"Earth to Aries." naputol ang pag iisip ko nang pinipitik ni Taurus ang daliri nya sa harapan ko.
"Are you done?" I asked.
"Hindi pa. Pupunta muna ako ng Milky Way dahil nagugutom na ako. Literal na kagagaling lang natin sa training at sumisigaw na ang tiyan ko sa gutom. Hindi ako makakapag function nang---"
"Oo na oo na pumunta ka na ang dami mo pang sinasabi dyan." I said while shoving him away.
He smiled widely and hopped.
"Yown! Ikaw ba di sasama?" I shook my head.
"Nah. I'll stay here." he nodded as he walk towards the door.
