"We could sell this at the auction."

My mom entered my studio and immediately saw my new work. It wasn't anything too fancy, I didn't feel like spending my time on too many details. Also, I wanted to play around with acrylic paint this time. As it looked rather sloppy to me, I didn't feel comfortable selling the painting. Maybe because I didn't feel comfortable in general.

Jeongin wasn't allowed to contact me and vice versa which was complete bullshit. Now that he moved to another school too, I couldn't see him at all. He didn't even pick up his phone and it drove me crazy.

"Hyunjin, you should sign it."

I stood up from the couch.

"I don't want to."

She looked perplexed, not understanding why I talked back. Being back at home made me anxious but I wasn't planning on walking on eggshells. They kicked me out once, they should do it again.

I didn't want to be the heir of our company and I certainly didn't want to pretend that I wasn't in love with Jeongin.

God, I missed him so much.

"Clean up and don't forget to sign your painting. I don't care about what you want. Stop being a brat when we're giving you more freedom than you deserve."

Right, I didn't deserve anything.
