"Hyunjin." Haeun gave me a short hug as she saw me entering the foyer.

I always liked her. She understood that I had no romantic feelings for her and she also had someone else she liked – even though, she would never admit it.

The second she saw Lee Minho at my house with his baby, they both were found speechless. And I wasn't that dense when it came to emotions. They were clearly interested in one another.

But maybe there was more than a little courage needed to act on those feelings.

Our engagement was solemnly for business purposes and we both had different plans. But leaving our families behind was hard. Money played a big role and no one would hire people who got thrown out of the most influential companies.

This wasn't going to be easy.

I just hoped Jeongin could hold on a little longer.

"Your father wants to see you."

"I know."

"Please don't do anything dumb."

Even though it wasn't a funny situation, I had to laugh.

"Don't worry", I ruffled her hair, "The only dumb one around is you."

With a smile on her face, she kicked me lightly. I was glad, I didn't go through this alone.
