Miscarriage

--3 hours later bare in mind women are advised to stay in hospital for 4-5 hours after a miscarriage for monitoring. I searched it ^.^--

I wake up and look at the time, we've been asleep for around 3 hours. I look down and see Maya still asleep, I stretch my legs and tense my arms in an attempt to stretch without waking her. The doctor walks in, "You're awake, she is free to go in an hour, I have signed the discharge papers but no one will let her leave for another hour." she whispers and I nod before she walks out. I take out my phone and message everyone about what happened instantly getting flooded with messages.

The names are all what Josh has them saved as!

Not-So-Mini Niece (Don't judge me I'm unimaginative!)

What!?!?! Is she ok?????

Me:

She's ok Riley just tired right now, I'll tell you if anything happens don't worry.

She's fine don't worry Howdy, I will tell you if anything happens

Ofc, I haven't left her side since she came out of surgery

I close my phone and wince at the sound it causes to echo and see Maya slowly open her eyes, "Morning Gorgeous." I say and her eyes flicker to me before looking away. "Maya...please don't shut me out.." I trail off and she looks at me again before hugging me tightly. I looked up and saw she could leave now, "Do you want to go home?" I ask and she nods against my shoulder. I gently take her arms off me before getting up, "Do you need help getting changed?" I ask her and she nods before getting up. I help steady her when she stumbles. I close the door and close the blinds before helping her change. "Thanks.." she murmurs and I smile before kissing her forehead, "Of course." I offer my hand and she seems reluctant to take it but eventually does. We walk up to the desk and they let her leave and we begin the short walk home.

(They live like 5 mins away from the hospital they only called an ambulance because of how much blood she was loosing)
